Pathetic violation of rights.
Thats insane o.O
Ayye tis an infamous vid.
Though I'm not sure what the kid's intentions were, whether it be to expose the truth or for local-recognition as a hero of some sort, he actually did do his research and did seem pretty passionate.
And the police had no right to encounter him, touch him, throw him on the floor and tase him. I mean c'mon, how many officers were there? 6?
Some of those officers were really big looking guys.
Tbh, that's pretty bad public for the man in question (guy running for president). I mean even if I thought the kid was being a dick, I would've told the police to stop harassing the guy. Maybe then people would feel as if he was more of a genuine guy than a guy who's escaping uncomfortable questions.
That was very unnecessary.
Seen it before.
That skull and bones cult still interests me.
Don't tase me bro!!
ouch.
Yeowch.
Seems to me like they tried to escort him off the premises. It was wrong but he shouldn't have resisted. He then tried to resist arrest so they tazered him. His own fault.
The guy was being a prick and generally just taking the piss. And I think it's safe to assume he had been for quite some time given how the audience were cheering when he was dragged away by the cops. He just shouldn't have resisted, really.
I agree he should have just stopped resisting, but to taser him was a bit extreme, there was afterall about 8 police, all should have been capable to at least get him in an arm lock. Credit due for saying 'Don't tase me bro' though, that was really funny lol
Umm rofl? The guy sat through a 2 hour speech and wanted 2 ask a few questions. Aren't you expected to answer questions at the end of the speech. I don't see why he was being removed off the premises anyway. They didn't even give a reason, so to tazer his ass was a bit extreme lol.
Yeah it was kind of wrong that they tried to escort him off...even the speaker was saying "let me answer his question"...but the security there or police or w/e continued to try to arrest him.
But at a certain point he should have realized that he needs to stop resisting, because nothing good would come out of it, ie tazer.
The cops over there are jokers honestly :P He was charged with inciting a riot. Last time I saw politicians debating they act in the exact same manor, if not worse. Don't see their ass getting tasered :P It's true he should have stopped resisiting. But I still cant see why he would get escorted away even at the question stage, fair enough half way through, but at the end? Big black security guy walking up was funny :P
Yeah basically he was being a prick.Quote:

Should have used a stun gun...that would have been 20 times cooler.
If he deserved it or not, which he did... With a person like John Kerry present, the police are going to be on edge anyways..
This is the ''Don't tase me bro'' right?
Or is this a new one?
ouchie
Well, the police if not taser, keep doing crap and abuse rights where I live. People are pretty much used to it now.
Well, that's the thing about the "key" people in society, if you don't disturb them in the violation of your right, all will be just fine, but if you do, they'll just violate your right the hard way.
The infamous "Don't tase me bro" vid. Fucking disgusting. The police think they have the right to do whatever they fucking feel like. Hell even Kerry seemed to want to answer the question. Then again he also didn't do shit to stop the situation. Its a problem more with the police than the government in this case and it happens all the time. The police force is full of douchebags that simply want the power to have control over people.
Old video. He was being arrested and he did try to resist arrest. But the police are supposed to tell you what you are being arrested for. The police aren't supposed to arrest anyone they feel like it. But after the "anti-terror bill" that passed, basically there is no more constitution right for you.
What the police did was legal but unethical. Imo people shouldn't be afraid of protesting against authority, the authority should be afraid of the people protesting as it is in France apparently (according to "Sicko" by Michael Moores).
Yes they have the right to arrest him, but tell me, what exactly did he do wrong? Ask a hard question? Well then, it seems I am fucked because most questions I ask require some thought. And yes there is that bill that was passed, but that's an entirely different discussion, stupid as well though.
I've seen people moan about how he was resisting, but the fact is he's resisting an unlawful, unnecessary arrest.
They had no right to confront him in the first place.
It's like this:
Basically I live in a community where a vote's being held. This vote dictates who will govern the laws and make the important decisions for the community.
Now I'm interested; I've researched into his past, and I'm kind of skeptical and I want to ask him some questions, I know they'll be uncomfortable but it may be my only chance.
So when It's my time to ask the questions, I do so. And then I get some beefie policeman trying to stop be from expressing free speech. I can't see what I'm doing wrong and feel as if I'm being dictated, I feel as if I'm not being given my rights as a human being and a citizen of a lawful community where liberty is granted to everyone.
Now, if it was me. I wouldn't be one of those pussies who shuts the hell up because some doughnut scoffing, fat asshole.
But it's okay... Some people will. ala everyone who's said in this thread "He deserves it".
It wasn't the questions he asked, it was the fact that he was completely taking the piss and acting like a retard by yelling and refusing to be calmly escorted off the premises after breaking the conduct of the event. The wikipedia article gives you a pretty good idea of what an asshole this guy is.
Actually, it is well within the rights of the person holding the event to have anyone removed for any reason they please. In this case, it's because the guy was being a disruptive asshole. And read the wiki article, he started acting like a retard the second he grabbed the (wrong) mic - which is before the video even starts.
Here, the police officers, if something happens, they will push a kid to the ground, and keep their knee on their back, until they calm down, and then put them in hand cuffs.
I think thats a bit unnecessary - tackling someone to the floor.
Happens rarely... but I've seen it happen to another student I know, after he punched a wall.
The police are getting out of hand with the way they handle the law, especially when children are involved.
wow that must of hurt
