[MOVIE] The Condemned

Not 100% sure why I posted this but I really liked this movie, and I thought that maybe it could influence you to watch it aswell, anyway's my brother hired The Condemned from the video shop and I liked it better than my movie that I picked (Conspiracy), the movie is a sort of like Rocky meets Rambo crossed with a bit of survivor lol.

I'll give a short re-cap of the movie; it was about a TV production man (not sure what there called :tongue:), and he thinks up an idea for a TV show but the show isn't for TV it's for the internet and is live streamed, and he pays of the wardens at random prisons around the world in some of the most corrupt prisons in the world and he buys ten convicts on death row, he then places them on an island somewhere around Papua New Guinea.

On the island they have a bomb strapped to there legs and a little pin that if you pull it you have like ten seconds to get out of the area (providing your the one not wearing the ankle bracelet of course), and one by one as their fighting for survival, they die of one by one until the final fight with the two main stars (Steve Austin and Vinnie Jones).

All in all it's a great movie except for the final way the TV show producer dies, it just seemed like a unrealistic and crappy way to die.

The movie is probably old in the country you guys are in but in Australia it was in the new release section :tongue:

I heard of it first when they were promoting it on FOX8 in Australia and then never heard of it after it came to the movies in the US and then my brother hired it and now here we are.

Meh it was OK i guess. Nothing special, and steve austin isn't an actor for a reason :P

Still his better than The Rock or John Cena, hate them both as actors.

The Rock was like okay in one of his movies. Ah.. I think the name was summat like Standing Tall. Dont really remember. He was descent in that.
He's better than Cena and Austin if you ask me.

I watched condemned a while back when stage 6 was still up :( I found the main plot of the movie quite brilliant but there were some bits in there that let it down.

I actually enjoy the rock's movies. At least he's making movies and not music:P That 1 song he brought out.It doesn't matter, WTF was the point :)

Standing tall was an okay movie accept it was basically like rambo once again except a modern day Rambo in my opinion, it was an alright movie though.

Well pretty much all movies are like that, so I'm not really spoiling it..
All movies like, man finds out other dude fucked with his family, man goes to kill him in revenge, man gets saved by a character that everyone thought was dead, man succeeds on getting revenge :tongue:

He really suited the role well in this movie.
I was watching the bonus features and several years before the movie he was at one of the WWE's promotional thing like he went into the ring and did the whole tough man wrestling act thing and he ended up pushing someone out of the ring but I can't remember who it is now, any way the PPV was called Captain Carnage or Capital Carnage.

I'd say its a rip off of a Asian movie. Its about a bunch of girls got kidnapped (and im mean alot). The head of the kidnappers group creat a game which will give those girls a chance to escape and have their freedom. All girls much kill each other until only one survived.

So i think this movie plot is also the same. Survival of the fittest.

its a ripoff of battle royale i think and i think i am right and the movie was decent enough for me to watch it to the end so its not that bad

watched it ages ago, it's a bit shit tbh.

WWE movies always suck tbh.

Pretty shite movie actually. Can see the ending coming before the movie even starts...so not exactly exciting.

And The Rock is a funny ass actor don't make fun of him...the other wrestlers are gay though.

Still, it's not up for you to decide what people expect of a movie. If you include spoilers, do mention it! It's not that I'd ever bother to see the movie for myself, but what you just did is horrible for those who want to see it from the beginning till the end. Never do it again, I don't want you spoiling a movie I might be interested in.

That was the worst wwe movie yet. It's storyline was bullshit as was the acting. Kane looked weird but not in a scary/horrifying way. Weird in a way as if I saw that face of his in the movie I'll give him a cold hard sucker punch just so I could stop laughing at his face.
