Imo the anime character shouldnt be in there - real life and anime dont blend well together - but other then that its alrite if ur learning
aye i know,
i think i should point out that my teacher was like telling us to do that lol :P
im gonna mess about some time
should be fun :)
I don't understand, what does the picture mean?
And what was the objective of the project?
Exactly what wounded wants to know.
The shadowing doesn't make sense.
The size, considering proportionality is all wrong (That tree must be effin huge, but judging by it's build, it should only be a few feet tall).
Plus judging by your shadow (+the lack of tree shadow) the grass should be lighten up, and so should the majority of the left hand side of the tree.
And the anime character.. what the hell, lol?
Btw is that wavy texture in the background the sky? If so there shouldn't be any shadow on that at all - not from the style you're following anyway.
Most importantly as a photographer, you need to take into consideration lighting, perspective and composition.
If I was teaching a photography class, and introduced photoshop, I probably would've suggested a simple portrait with a direct artificial light source. lighting up the whole face and telling them to introduce shadow.
Its pretty nice. :D
It's nice for just experimenting.
I wouldn't call it "amazing"
but nice for a experiment.

@ LILK@OS , if you lose that anime render , i can say thats a pretty nice experiment :P
i cant now :P
couldnt save it in psd format, has no space on pendrive bah whatever :P
Tip:
Always save the .PSD, and .JPEG (most importantly the .PSD!)
It looks good, except for the anime character, as said above, and the shadow of you? (I think that picture is of you...) Which was also mentioned above.
But it looks nice.
I think it could use more effectrs and such. It would have been better if you saved the PSD... because 1-2 months from now, you could have coome back and revised it.
aye, well ive sorted my pendrive out, so i can now save both formats.
i usually do that, just ran out of space.
The idea of it is very nice, the only thing i dont like is her shadow... :P
