Introduction
Hi,

I'm Sisija. Meth0d has today decided to stop with his work on HoloCMS. I (Sisija) will now go on with HoloCMS. So... here's my first release. This is also automaticly the new post for HoloCMS because this one I can update.

What is HoloCMS?
HoloCMS is a free, advanced, and powerful website and content management system for Holograph Emulator. It is a complete solution that integrates perfectly, and works together with Holograph Emulator. It has been in development since december 2007 and has evolved a lot. HoloCMS 2.0 is a brand new version of HoloCMS that contains many improvements, fixes, and a lot of function rewrites. Due to the fact nearly every file was modified during the creation of this version, we have decided to call it version 2.0.

What's new in HoloCMS 2.0 BETA 3 and higher?
This version has over-all fixes of the older releases of 2.0.
It has also fixes from:

- HC (with some it does work, with others not! If not, say it!!!)
- Group badges fully working in hotel
- More Habbo like
- MUS works
- Widescreen fix
- New V23 loader
- Brand new "Hotel is closed" button (note: in config.php you've to enable he status check system!)
- Over-all fixes

In this version the group badges are also saved because otherwhise it doesn't show up in the hotel. But before they fully show up you've first to do something.
You need your OWN external texts (and external variables)!!!

In beta 4 there are over-all fixes and a new "ads" system. See screens below.

In beta 5 there are over-all fixes.

In beta 6 there are over-all fixes and it's easier to understand how to upgrade without lose data.

In beta 7 the ads system is fixed. Please repleace the map "templates" and repleace the files "community.php" and "me.php".

In 2.1.0 STABLE this is new:
- Enable/disable V23 loader
- Better configuration
- Client fixes
- Over-all fixes
- Images on homes don't work fix (for some it works fine, for others not but okay :S)
- Important security bug fix
- Group badges fixes
- Loader fixes
- New group badge system (credits to Kreechin, edited by me)
- Voucher system (credits to Kreechin, edited by me)
- Sticker & background system (credits to Kreechin, edited by me)
- Habbo Version fix (to update css' [that we didn't rip] you needed to edit a lot of files, now you can config it in core.php, example: $habboversion = "23_deebb3529e0d9d4e847a31e5f6fb4c5b/9";)

In 2.1.1 the loader is fixed (you can now really choose V23 loader or NON-V23 loader) and install fix.

Installation Instructions
- Download HoloCMS and extract it anywhere
- If you are planning on hosting HoloCMS locally, this is the time to set up apache if you haven't yet, and put all HoloCMS files in your htdocs directory. If you are planning on uploading HoloCMS to your webhost, do so now.
- If you haven't installed Holograph Emulator yet, this is the perfect time to do so. Although HoloCMS can work without Holograph Emulator, it cannot work without it's database.
- Create a database if needed, and execute holodb.sql on your SQL Database
- Once you have uploaded/placed the files where you want them, navigate to your HoloCMS directory in your browser (eg. http://www.mysite.com/cms/).
- The installer should launch now. Follow the on-screen instructions and fill in the information you are asked to. (Note: HoloCMS does not log your SQL credentials whatsoever, it writes them to a configuration file)
- Once you have completed the installation, HoloCMS is ready for use!

Updating? Please read this first!
If you update no data goes lost. Only your stuff get updated etcetera. If you want to update to a new version you FIRST need to delete install.php - otherwise you can't open upgrade.php.

Is it supposed to be non-English? Maybe that's the problem.

Please use mysql_real_escape instead of stripslashes.
Stripslashes look:
- ugly
and are:
- old

Mysql_real_escape string looks much cleaner, you don't see ugly slashes, so, everything is better with mysql_real_escape.
And as PHP coder you should know how use mysql_real_escape, and it is as secure as stripslashes, so, why shouldn't you use stripslashes, because of the followed reasons:
- NONE!

Hmm... lol. You didn't said this against Meth0d, right? Because almost all the code is from Meth0d. I even didn't had to use stripslashes for something (YET).

mmk.. I downloaded, and just simply replaced it with my old HoloCMS. Installed it etc. But, it dosn't work. The client just says 'Loading Holo...' and so on, nothing happens.

I clicked on 'SVN Update' on holograph, but nothing was added nor replaced, so I shouldnt think I need to upgrade the database?

i got the same so i replaced he client"loader" with the first holocmsv2 and it works except i stil canlt log in with hc on but at least it showed some improvements cuz when i buy it says that i bought it now buy ....press X after nothing showing and gettin 62 instead of 31, nice imprormenst but still missing stuff in catalague everything after the laser gates

edit: also ii ught a double of the tapes to make music ad now i canlt throw throw them away

Finaly got it working so HC members can login. They can't see how many days they have left on the hotel though.

Aslong as they can log in and use HC features its fine with me.

Sisija not to be needy/demanding, but I myself would greatly appreciate it if you kept Meth0d's habit of perfection going. By perfection I mean there's no dead links, if it's coded then it's done right or mostly done and it's stable, if it's not coded, it's not there, etc.

For an example of a CMS lacking this, would be OtakuCMS, it's hella glitchy, not organized, ads everywhere, gross. :P

Field 'online' have a default value

Hey I have everything set up in my Mysql and SqLyog.But when I bring up the Sever i connect to mysql then I get an error at one point. Here is a screenie. Who can send me the holodb.sql file? or were can I locate it?

I coded minimail, although you can only send to one user, and a user can only see one message at a time and cant delete. Yet.

for fix of hc go to virtualUsers.CS and find the users_club place and add at the end LIMIT 1 and it must be ran in debug mode for it to work.

I'll release the virtualuser tommorow (HC Fix)

This CMS only works with V23 :(

mmk.. I downloaded, and just simply replaced it with my old HoloCMS. Installed it etc. But, it dosn't work. The client just says 'Loading Holo...' and so on, nothing happens.

I clicked on 'SVN Update' on holograph, but nothing was added nor replaced, so I shouldnt think I need to upgrade the database?

I'm not sure if this helps but i was messing around and i changed the the date I joined HC from "23-6-08" to "1-1-08" and I could enter the hotel.

Why it only says Opening Stormspike... All the time?

It says i'm connecting at Holograph emulator...

I gonna loggon the hotel but it just says opening Stormspike....

So i don't know if this is the error people have been complaining about but I have the same problem.

I enter the hotel and it gets past the loading screen and the sulake screen. The background appears with the Habbo UK background but then nothing else appears like none of the interfaces appear. Anyone have a fix or a answer?

If you can't get out of the new loader (so you only see Opening hotelname...) than YOU did something wrong. Check if all ports are right etcetera.
How do I know? I had it also, when I changed some things it worked fine.

There are a Bug.

When you modify the group-badge in the page groupe_profile, it's don't load into the group home.

I have fixed this bug. This is the group_profile.php fixed.

Now isn't this shit? I deleted the V21 gallery I had only a few days ago, which had everything - even the myhabbo images for homes and groups. I didnt think I would need them anymore, but oh shit. Im pissed. I could have given them to sisja, but I'm sure other hotels like Habbo AU would have them.

But anyway, Sisja, I'll try and get them for you. Somewhere.... lol

I'm just stuck on Opening Stormspike...
And i've opened port 3306,80,21,22 thats all right?

So i think i found the problem for some people.

this is what you need to do to get a connection:

You need to edit files in both

bin/debug/bin/mysql.ini
bin/release/bin/mysql.ini

They both need to be pointed at your database.
I tried it because.. well duh you debug so you need to get the debug to access the database also.

The other thing that you need is v23 files because that is what Holo seems to run on.
I have not been able to get this working yet but I got the opening message that tells people to stop complaining.

If anyone else get this working please message me.
