FINALLY in-game XMB...that is slick, that was definitely a feature that was BADDDLY needed.
And TROPHIES hohohoho Accomplishments too...about time that Ps3 is catching up to the xbox360 multiplayer interface.

Basicly you only need to watch the video if you don't know how the 360 works, if you do then you just see Sony adding the same stuff Microsoft already had.

Fantastic, if my bluetooth headset ever cuts off I don't have to leave the game to reconnect it now! That's snap, my headset cuts off quite a bit so that's handy for me. The new features are looking great tbh.
Ingame messaging, being able to control your XMB ingame, trophies etc etc, these are all key things that made the Xbox 360 software good to begin with.Quote:

Same type of thing, different concept. I have both consoles and I much prefer the speed of which I can do things on my PS3 also the trophy system isnt just, collect aload of points and then it gets added to your score, you have to collect an amount of trophys to gain a level. Which acording to a review done by somone from IGN gives gamers more incentive to "level-up" as it turns gaming itself into an "RPG-Game" which is new and a large improvement to what microsoft originally done. Alright that's fantastic. I'll need to download 2.41 when my PS3 comes back from the chop shop (repair shop).
Now we just need some decent games! and decent games with trophys would also be nice!
Imo they should allow developers to put in trophys for older games, i actually think a lot of them would do it, because just like with the achievement system, people want to get lots of them, so games with trophys would be more popular and all.
Future games will have trophies enabled in them, what I think Sony will do is release patches of the Trophies system for older games so they can run in compatibility with them (or the game will be sent an update, which does happen)Quote:
