hii guys
Death Note is one of the best Anime series i have ever watched
I liked every thing sound tracks,direction,charachters,story every thing
but I didnt like the end cuz Light is dead I think we all loved Light cuz he is cool and has a cause to fight :D
I think the end was sad ,miserable,frusturating and I hoped that Light would kill Near and Mello but they didnt allow that they intentionally made mikei do a mistake to end the life of light :S:scratch:
Yes ending did suck, ending also sucked in Evangelion & Chrno Crusade, also did you know..
Yagami Light = Imagay light :P
It should have ended with Light killing Lawliet (went downhill from there)

Serves that bastard right, his ways were right in the beginning but the way he got all manipulative and evil just disturbed me, I think his death was needed, but I wish he would have completed his work, I agreed with his cause.
At the end of the manga after he died there was a whole tribe of kira worshipers still left in the world. :S Kinda strange.

No Why the Hell did Light Die... But Light Did put up a really good fight, and He was Way better then L the Only Thing that made L win was Because he was lucky, Everything he guessed was right.. there were rules in the Book how did he know that the last rule that Light Added was a fake.. That was Way weired.. well in the end Light should have won but he got a little over the line. so Well okay then thats it thats why i have to say. T_T

I downloaded and watched all 37 anime episodes in japanese subbed in english in under 2 days....
I was soooo emo when i got to the end..... What happened to Misa? The rest of the warshipers? What if another Shinigami drops a book? What if Misa had a plan.... All i know is i can never hear the word light without getting sad.... At the time the episodes were like crack for me.... I couldn't stop watching...

I didn't mind Light dying, I did mind the death of L tho.
Light started to behave misguided from the moment he killed "L" live on TV and the show started to go down after L's death in my opinion.
but the shinigami killed L

i already watched this death note series but i don't really like it..the story, i really dont understand. rather to say i'm confuse..and also the ending...
but in chrono crusade is also good anime it has a sad ending it's familiar with death note but their story is good rather than deathnote.
well that's my opinions guys! i've watched many times chrono crusade. i really like it hope to have a season2 for that..hope they can make again a season2.

L lawliet. what weried name i got vol.13 of the deathnote manga and aparently its L lawliet. I like the name it is weried but i still like it. Reminds me of lawl the other way you spell lol. But i bet everybody notices that. Anyway its still a cool name and everybody praise L lawliet one of the best detectives you will ever see!!!!!!

the episode when L died was very, spected... i mean, lighto planned that since the day he was "helping" catch Kira...

Still, i hope there is a new version of DeathNote, it was soo good... why did they even stoped... just when mello and near had so much stuff to do yet =[ theyr characters ended being so incomplete...

and yes it was pretty long in comparation to other animes that true, but it could have been even longer =D
tough after L died, the next 3 episodes to hes dead, were a little bit slow, after that it like became good again xD
It would be really good to continue the anime =] or at least the manga, i havent seen any news of it lately T_T
was a shame the way it ended, although bad guys like Light always lose in the end, it should of ended with the anti-hero achieving his ambition

All I know is, I watched that show 4 times and at the end every single time it showed the guy who fucked up his plan I am like, DAMN YOU!!!! He woulda won if it wasn't for that retard of a man... Yeah, L was so much cooler than Near or the other guy. If anyone was to catch him, it should have been L. The ending was very bad. As another person said (and I'm too lazy to go quote it), they made Light look pathetic in the end instead of someone with a multitude of courage and such, which he displayed throughout the entire series.

it's a thriller so the ending is typical.
Most deathnote fans would agree the ending seemed a bit lame, but had light survived they would have been hassled for a series 2, easier this way i guess? ^^;
Deathnote ended the manga way... They killed someone off.
But it does explore the issue of right and wrong and who deserves to die. Split for me really. =/

I was so depressed when I download a wrong subtitle "French" what the. But since then
I was bit confuse about the story, it seems that ryuzaki must be also killed because his name was written by the death god i think.

The series was very entertaining, yet equally disturbing as pleasurable. It was interesting to watch his concept of justice corrupt as soon he began the riot on Earth. I actually enjoyed Death Note. The movies that followed the anime series were nice as well, especially the third movie where we got to know L better. Contrary to the popular dislike of the ending, I liked the ending.
The ending was hinted multiple times throughout the series. I honestly saw it coming. I didn't like how he went out as a screaming bitch though.
The shinigami Ryuk just relieved his hazard... I think he was very fair-play. But Raito was not cautious when he revealed himself to the public... It made it obvious. But but for that, the anime would not be fun.:thumbup:
