How did you make the sort of 'glance' ?
I always (try to) do it with a low-opacity white-filled layer, nudge it in place.
the way i did it was using 2 colours slightly different from each over one whiter the the other and coloured it

I like them man, sexy in any color :p. Verry professional and subtle, but also clean cut and easily distinctive.
