[INFO] About Hang Gmcharedit

Guys i found out why our gmcharedit is hang when we edit char, but did you found out that when you edit a new char new skill added is no hang?

becuase if your character you edit is learn a skill or have a skill, then your gmcharedit hang

but if your character is fresh even you have money or items, but no skill added, your gmcharedit not hang

How to Solve This?

If you know how to hex try to hex gmcharedit, make our gmcharedit not read the character skill.

Try it for your self to prove what im saying guyz, i just want to share wat i found, and that's our problem if someone want to donate. i know there's alternative way like, using php script. but i like to use gmcharedit...

My character has 157 skills normal and mixclass but it doesnt hang...
I know why it hangs...

This is the reason:

PET

Try not to have a pet on the character that you will be editing and it will be edited smoothly...
But if the character already used a pet card...
GMCharEdit will hang..

oK Bro Gonna Try Withouth Pet, allright bro, maybe we wipe out the pet database, then we can use gmcharedit without hang.. thanks for the info, ill try this tonight...

if u will delete pet database u will encounter lots of errors in ur field server

All of the related information regarding a character with pet...
Even the logs...
Cuz if the character used a pet card...
Then it will hang with gmcharedit...

hmmm i will share my thought here.. even if you have a char did not use skills nor pet cards it will surely hangs when you level up the char after awhile in a long periods of playing.. and a worst the new char that you created within the main char it will not edited unless you created a newly fresh account.

its hard enough to solve some clues if you do not have the source code of the gmeditor. so we ended in analysing and general prediction and counter trial and error. ( just i always do 'cause i do not have knowledge about programming issues. )

we hope that some other dev in the other sections visit this section and ^^ have a share with their talents hehe ... ehem..

Sir Maroki Is Correct You Need To Create Fresh Account And Fresh Character So Gmcharedit Can Edit My Fresh Character, And Put The Item What You Want

your wrong about pet i have a pet but my Gmcharedit work fine without any hangs!!! ^_^!!

some people's gm char edit hangs...
Maybe yours is fixed :)

sir michael can you make a thread with all the compilation of your share in the ep4 like pets and editors
cause your shares is seen everywhere so it is hard to find^^

my GMCharacter editor hangs only when i edit characters with ChaClass 16 & 32... that's expected since the editor is an ep3 base editor...

with pet, even old account and adding of skills are still workin fine for me... the only problem i have ryt now is that it can't read the items in the character inventory... when you select charInven tab, all the character's item will be wipe out... that's why in my case, when a player donate's, i put the item in dbo.UserInven>UserInven table...
