[Tut] How to hex edit your own client [55] Lots pic's/details

You prob seen alot of guide's on hex editing but they are complicated here is with details!!!

DOWNLOADS

1.Here is HEX WORKSHOP DOWNLOAD!!! http://www.bpsoft.com/downloads it is the most important for hex editing a client!

2. find a local host personally i like this one. http://www.mediafire.com/?mma2qmnttqu (Credits too EternuM) unlm FJ super tubi all teh good stuff in there. (SORRY I GAVE THE RONG LOCALHOST I CHANGED LINK!!!)

Now lets get started!

Step 1. Right click ur localhost and click "hex edit with hex editor"

Step 2. Click CTRL + F together. Than a box like this should pop up

Step 3. If it isnt alredy change Type: Hex Value to Type: Text string than itll look like this,

Step 4, after you done that its time to type in Value type... 127.0.0.1

Step 5, Click ok and then sumthing like this should pop up

Step 6, Find ur ip or who ever's ip i suggest hamachi to help you

Step 7, click right infront of the "1" in 127

Step 8, After you click infront start typing ur ip (including the dots)

Step 9, After you type it in Once again Click infront of the "1" in the other 127 and continue doing that after that it should look like this.

Step 10, Next you are done hexing!!!! it is time to save. It doesnt matter if you make a backup you dont really need.

ERROR'S

Well the only error ive gotten so far in hexing was this one,

And if you get that error its because the localhost you downloaded didnt have the ip of 127.0.0.1 3 times "example"

for that error the thing should look like this when you first open it in the workshop
127.0.0.1.....127.0.0.1...1.242.234.24<(any ip)
if it looks like this you have to find another localhost because hexing it wont work
if it looks like this,
127.0.0.1.....127.0.0.1......127.0.0.1 Than u are fine it should work!

thanks. my server dosent need hamachi so here's my wanip: 75.6.239.208
and for the servername. do i send u the client? or wat? My server's call BeerMS

You dont really want to give out your WANip to the public, if your gonna do this i suggest a PM :)

same goes for me whenever i save it turns into a wierd icon and when i click on it , it'll tell me it cant fonction properly , redownloading it might fix the problem , please help me =(

Its really weird cause whenver I type in my ip, its not numbers sometimes. Its everything. Here's what it turns out to be ..B.h..0.1.......127.0.0.1.......127.0.0.1.......F.
I didn't hex the other numbers yet. -.-
