warning : server scams

gamingtown =( Kane_Hart ) = Scam, DO NOT donate 1 cent to this 18 year old living with his mother. He has made over 500-1000$ in donations, and still can't run a stable server. His latest excuse was his comp blew up.

Ul2 ( capn_marv) - another GT soon to be. sure he ran a RO server but he knows nothing about lin2. Some friends of mine helped him set up his server. They accidently sent him their sql pw and username in some files that they gave capn to help. He then deleted my friends server which has over 500+ active users and was running stable for 4 weeks. I tried to confront him on this matter but got a quick ban from his IRC channel.

after only 5 days of running his server he has constant crashing, its only a matter of time ,or if it has happened already, he wil be taking donations , and threating to close the server down. I feel sorry for the 80+ people in his IRC who fall for his scam and will donate thinking they will get a stable server, but this will never happen.

------a good tip to finding a nice lin2 server is that they WONT force you to donate. I ahd to let this info out to the public, cause I fell for this scam ( GT ). This was my first server and I donated some money, the server was never up for more than 7 days, after 2 weeks and 2 wipes he lost the majority of his players.

thank you, someone that notice this bs other than me. Kane is a fcker he says he dosent take the money my ass. First he says he needs money to donate to upgrade his box, than needed more money to pay for a ***server*** which suddenly shut up them and stole all the money SOME HOW? now he CPU **cracked** (too much gay porn) and now he needs people to donate 300 again. Common people please notice this BS. Btw if anyone ever notice it i think it was on thursday or wed night he said he will sell l2 server files that everyone on this fourm worked on. I don't force anyone and I don't care. So busy with rl and it aint scam it's truth no how hell did i make 500-1000 I proved to the guy who donated and hes only guy whos really donated 400us has trusted me and we talk. He knows first server I was with it kept crashing in end I said screw this left. But then we found out last part month I left server running jsut pc no l2 server it kept crashing I asked for refund or new server they said sorry vlah blah. Next time we were going run on the planet. We missded the deal by like 2 hours. He knows this I told him refund him or we use on the new server get new rogers bundle and other parts. He said thats fine he said was worth it. I will admit tho no donations have been used on person things I'm upset how server turned out and in end we all lost. I wish I had 10 servers and all worked fine I run 1 each game. But I don't have money and I tried run with donations stinger aswell does it is he a scamer no. Almost them all do it he also at a point fell. I been already wared by ncsoft 2 times. And guys what I told them fuck off and lept running it. I'm not only risking cash I'm risking my self. Why don't you run a game server for few months tell me how happends. And I can tell you was in tears when my cpu died cuz I got that many months ago when was hotest thing on market and cost me over 500 for just cpu in canada.

I hope you understand and if I do get enough donations I will run again.

Also note donations are donations it's diffrent if was a service. Remember that.

If you want to run a descent server, change your attitude, get a GOOD pc a GOOD Server BEFORE you start to advertise, then slowy build your users up by 100,200,300 etc...

I banned more then 1000+ was more like that per day guess why. Cuz assholes Like you sir did not follow rules. So there woerse then scammers there blind people and again I don't scam so thats now good term. But I setup auto banned and people who say this servers gay or people who start spamming other server fo course going banned them. huh I will say one this l2server aint stable not always caused by hardware lot time software also if he using english npc's that guy did npc's server crashes a lot.

Also you may not think were good people but some people like us it's like in rl somone walks buy says I hate you next person says your great. Not everyone likes everyones ways if we did well we be sing songs togeather tnight around massive circle lol/

back to the topic, you have no idea which server i am on. and yes it is stable

the average time up your server had was 4 hours. the server i am on has 20 hours runs.. so......

kane & capn, are n00bs..... about mssql... and stuff, Capn run a server maintain and finance, is easy.... just need time, and it need to be by yourself, not asking for money, i got alot of friend exploiding in you server already... capn

weird...haha i have my server running...and its stable to far for the past 3 weeks...still i havent had a lot of players since everyone i know want me to put back up my RO server for them but i move my project to lineage2 so uhh i need players and ...damn ...screw the finance...you shouldnt be hosting in the first place if all you want is money from other ppl just get a damn job...i would rather pay ncsoft and join their server with millions of ppl..instead of donating you guys and go into a server of like 50's...haha...shoot...i hosted my RO server for more than 2 years...no donations collected what so ever..and i dont plan on doin it for lineage 2 either...so if you guys wanan join my server pm me

BTW I give your server 1 more week untill its shut down.

Sorry if this offends anyone We have just put a lot of time and money into our server to get it working as well as it is for our members thx to everyone here on ragezone that helped us and to our users that have contributed.
