Signature of the Week

How would you guys like it?

I would host it.

Each week, a new thread would be posted, you guys post your signatures, and we vote. Winners could possibly receive a new user group (still under discussion, but probably yes) but it would only last for 1 week, then it'll be removed.

If we get good feedback here, I will start some up. We will try it once or twice in this general section, and if it turns out good, we'll get our own section to do it in.

Opinions?

We could have a different theme each week.

Like one week Music the next Fps Gaming Or something like that

SOTW's have already been made and just dropped death... It really isn't worth it, The Portfolio needs more people for that to work

Graphic battles are so popular, have you seen some of them lately?

More people keep coming into this section, it's been getting many new members. I think we have enough.

Agreed alot more Battles are happening a SOW would be very good

If we get enough good posts here, we will make it happen.

Yes, I talked to Lee.

He said we'd discuss the usergroup thing, and if we get enough good posts here, then I can make SOTW.

It sounds like a great idea... I'd have to win atleast once... and what usergroup thing?

Yay for SOTWs? I'd like em.

SOTW is a good idea and all, but, you see with all our entries and growth of users, not much are left over to vote. I don't really see it happening much. I suggest starting off with a SOTW without any prizes and see if it gets any attention, than if we could maintain that, than we should continue a bit more.

For a prize, your name would be a different colour, and you'd have a different rank, for 1 week or so.

Well.. We need ideas, because as Skycut said, if everyone enters, then there will be no voters.

Any ideas?

I got it. You could set a specific date, where anyone can enter up until then. Then everyone else votes. ^^

Well I guess the first 5 will work, and a post limit to enter. You might want another person to help host and manage these things.

I agree.

Lets make it so there can be 6 entries, and even the makers can vote, but just not for their own signatures.

I'd say more like 5, Manual.

How does it throw things off?

Sure, voting for others decreases the chances of them winning, but if they want to, they should be able to.
