Nice first pentool, just try to add more depth into by various sizes.
Yes and smooth it out, with pen tool you have to plan where you're going otherwise unwanted edges come out like it did there, also use brush settings to get various effects with those lines.
Nicely done if it's your first.
That is the most simpliest pentool trick. My advice:pratice shapes, designs, and stuff like that.

A stylus is for an art tablet, ins@ne, it's just the mouse. It's click and drag to design the direction/shape.
