[PHP]User+News system.
I've made this sort of 'News' system and put in a regular register/login thing.
It uses alot of PHP, MySQL and even abit Sajax and JS.
http://80.60.10.185/ will redirect you to the correct site:
http://cms.thamob.nl
Layout is from a free website, but I edited it in Dreamweaver aswell as PhotoShop.
I'm also using two self-made classes in PHP.
The `admin` can post news, delete news and comments, etc.
Everyone can comment.

It can be because the port on your computer isn't forwarded to the router.
/Edit: Damn you guys post fast. <.<
-
Re: [PHP]User+News system.
I've forwarded port 80 and port 443 UPD and TCP, on the correct IP address in my router.

Re: [PHP]User+News system.
just host it lol it will be quicker than messing round in your router

Re: [PHP]User+News system.
It does work for meh. I'm working on something familiar, lil bit more complex though

Re: [PHP]User+News system.
I'm sorta making the same thing, i got posting news, logging in, admin, newest posts done but i can't get it to count how many comments someone posted :(
-
Re: [PHP]User+News system.
My comment system is like.
In the news you make a comment, it's saved in the table comments which has as columns: id (the ID of the comment), news_id (the ID of the news post it was done in), the name of the poster, the text, done.

Re: [PHP]User+News system.
Fu izu :P nevermind him, he's just a huge emo fan of OOP and don't like my procedural php.

Re: [PHP]User+News system.
I've updated it a little, the comments layout has changed and you can show/hide comments now.
Especially when some Czech dude posts some unreadable text which is soo long :P

Re: [PHP]User+News system.
UPDATE:
I've been learning to use mod_rewrite and I've now used that to replace `http://80.60.10.185/news.php?article=ID` with `http://80.60.10.185/articles/ID/`.
P.S:
The name of news.php has changed to a random combination for security.

Re: [PHP]User+News system.
Thanks.
UPDATE:
With preg_replace I've expirimented a bit and came out with something I saw on a forum; a BBCode tag.
It goes like: [hide=NAME OF HIDE]text to hide (spaces allowed).
This'll create a button which will show up with the text you put after 'hide=' and when you click it, the 'hidden' text will become visible =)
