Lol, I dled before it was released. I think it gets released today? Anyways it's a good game.
Heard it is a good game haven't played it yet
I played around with it, it's pretty fun, although I enjoyed being at the second stage the most.
1st and 2nd stages are best so far imo, 3rd and 4th need some serious alteration and 5th seems to have the most content, because of this i cant really say how good it is.
well im playing it so cool... i bought it and today i downloaded the last part of it a so nice game
I bought it two days ago...it is great. I love making my own units and creatures.
The only problem seems to be the need for content. Space age has SO much content and I assume it will take many(10+) hours to truly complete it, but the first stage took 20 minutes(hard). Second stage took 30-40 minutes. Third stage was easy because I was just social with everyone. Fourth stage was quite short because I went all out the first few minutes and dominated.
Now I'm on space stage and just doing tasks, building colonies, destroying planets...etc.
On the plus side I'm doing it in a death star with a smiley face on it.
Oh HI :) I'm going to kill you all now. Good day. :2gunsfiring_v1:
So did anyone buy this? People who loved and bought all the Sims version probably would have, but Spore is using SecuRom protection. 3 activations per copy of the game. EA has also stated ALL FUTURE GAMES released by them will also be using SecuRom.
Good job EA, now i can actually justify pirating games.
Wait, so is this the game where you create a creature and then use it online as an interaction?
ofcourse i brought it dude cost me
[QUOTE=Ramuthra;4061641]ofcourse i brought it dude cost me
They have agreed 3 times is a little low so they are to make it 5 on newer games. Also you CAN re-install it more times but you have to go through the customers support and they check it up case by case.
Anyway this doesn't bother me since EA hasn't made any good game imo for a loooong time. But as said, they are just justifying piracy.
And there was a fully playable copy out 2 days before release anyway so Pirates > EA even before the game begins.
Just buy the game, and if you can't reinstall just download it. That way you did pay for it, and what you do is purely legal.
If you can't effort it, don't play it, all you pirate guys do is bring down the gaming industry...I have seen quite some companies going down because of that, if you're too poor, then get a job.
I will buy the game soon, looks like a great game...I think I'll love stage 1 ;)
Intalling in 30 mins. Will see how good this game is. ;D
Ill get it after Ramadhan. It looks tight.
Well brilliant, now I can't run Spore because of my dual GPU videocard, need to wait the patch... ;]
Bringing the industry down?
When they limit the amount of times you can install a game, you are NOT buying it, you are RENTING it.
This has NOTHING to do with not being able to afford it, i buy games when i see that they are actually worth the price. Let me also point out that they are NOT doing this to stop people from pirating, they are doing it to stop people form RESELLING games.
I will pay for a game when i see it is worth it. Paying for spore? No way i would waste my money on that. So if i have no intention of buying it in the first place, there is NO PROBLEM with me downloading it, because they are NOT losing any sales from me - the sales were never there to begin with.
Lets say i DIDN'T download it. OK, what now? I am NOT going to buy it, so by NOT downloading it i have made a total of ZERO difference. People forget that there are MANY different types of pirates. I pirate if: a) i have no intention at all of buying the game, b) my country has only been issued with an EDITED version (eg. Fallout 3), or c) i do not feel it is worth the price.
As with the last point, when the games comes down in price or if it is on sale, i WILL buy it. I do NOT think it is appropriate for them to charge $110 for a game, no matter how good it is.
that is pretty fucked up, i mean only 3 downloads per a cd i fucking bought
just bought it, installing now!
for all the legit buyers whats your username, if you add contacts on this you see their creations more often in games.
mines: ramuthra-x since some idiots taken my name even though i got it on release day
I downloaded it pretty fun really, got onto space age and started a war with some randoms (They keep attacking my colonies D:)
Anyway i'll probably buy it once it goes down in price a bit, see what the online content is like.
I don't really like it. Building a creature is fun, but as a game spore is horrible at any stage (so far, anyway), in particular stage 3 which is basically just a poor RTS.
If you weren't going to buy it, but you did download it and later on let a friend try it and he liked it so much he actually bought it. That way EA made profit of you downloading it, right?
Well this maybe doesn't work with games as good as with music but it does work this way more or less.
