Max Level 70 Procedure

I have decided to share my Procedure that will keep users at level 70 max.

Next open your LOAD_USER_DATA procedure, then add this to the bottom.

When ever a user relogs at lvl 70 and lvl 71 the users level and exp will be reset.

You can add other levels to check for e.g lvl 72 etc etc, just look at the script and add what is needed.

this wont prevent users from having 80 skill points and too many stat points

Stat points and skill points are calculated based on your level not the amount of points you already have.

As you can see this script resets there level back to 70 when they earn more than 1 exp and Also resets there exp back to 1.

So if a user restats or Reskills at Level 70 they get Level 70 Stat or skill points..

e.g if a user was deleveled from 80 down to 70 and they Restat or Reskill again at lvl 70, they will only get the points you would at Level 70..

To prevent a user from getting to level 71 just edit your Levelup table to Stop them reaching this level, for sure if you have your server setup right and no stupid amounts of exp from mobs this works perfect at least it does for me anyway..

So your words 'Wont Prevent' are actually wrong..

999999999 exp will just make em lvl down.
and with ur procedure char can just not logout ur procedure cant edit userdata when the user is online so if he keep play getting exp lvl to lvl 70+ getting the stat and the skill points and he is strong like lvl 80 little less cuz of lvl diff but it isnt that smart procedure :S
if u add a restater and reskiller each time he rellogs and a tool that check if he got more stat point than lvl 70 should be dc him so he wont play with the points till next relload than its perfect.
its not that hard to make like it sounds :P

Did I say to make 99999999999999999999999 exp? no I diddnt.

I just meant make the 71 exp high enough So no user will be able to level before logging off or relogging.

what i ment is a char can keep lvling withuot login out and he will go lvl 70+ cuz procedure cant update his exp\lvl when he is online so the only thing he gotta do is stay online.
and about the 999 exp i said that as an example for high exp so he wont reach it even if he stay on and the prob with high exp is the exp lost when u die.

Blah Blah Blah what ever dude..

My server been running this script for 1 month, NOONE has reached level 71 Oh and Guess what ALL MY 70 Users still got 1 Exp.

Anyway I dont need to entertain minoritys like your self...

My script works perfect just the way it should do, So you can think what you wanna think..

i guese u dont understand the point offcurse ur script work and he make em lvl 70 with 1 exp :S
the point is they got the lvl 70+ stat point they can lvl to 71 for example and use the stat than become lvl 70 exp 1

worthless to you, but not to me....

I made this script to simpily keep everyones level at 70 and 1 exp, and Noone will ever make level 71 in my server because I dont got any mobs dropping stupid amounts of exp everything is well balanced out..

If peopole dont like it they dont have to use it, its quiet simple and they certainly dont have to make childish remarks without any thought in someones post when all there doing is sharing things to people that might actually want this sort of thing.

Isk this forum just gets Better and Better, hostile is not even a word here..

well, I'm confused why you would write up an entire stored procedure when 1 line of sql does more...

Because everyother script I wrote to adjust the exp and level together would not work, and this is what I ended up with also I couldnt be bothered waiting days on end for help, so I decided to do it my self..

At least I know it works for what I want and Ive not leeched of someone esle, and you can call that PRIDE!
