Runescape - Pking?

Hey,

Just a question...

When is Runescape going to release it's Pk? Somebody told me it was going to be released last week but it never happend so doesn anybody have a clue?

Im sure they said this like start of september. At that time they said it would be released in around a months time. So you would be looking around october.

yea, around October... There's another idea they've stolen from private servers; pking everywhere except banks and certain places. It's only gonna be two world though.

May be mistaken here, but didn't the original rs have the pking everywhere (before us) untill people started to complain etc ? 0.o

Originally, back in early classic, anywhere outside lumby, excluding banks, was a pk zone. then it was changed to the wildy. Now, they're designating certain worlds to pking

Well the whole world pking may be interesting but i don't think i would be using it ^^

I think jagex start playing servers before they take action, Get a few ideas then BAM they release it officialy :/

I'm pretty sure the guys over at Jagex are still working on it. Making sure no bugs and exploits such as gettting other peoples' stuff when they die :P That'd be a neat bug though. Imagine someone carelessly carrying millions of gold worth of items and they just get pwned out on Lumbridge.

Or mistakenly log into an all pking world and bam, your dead and bye bye goes your items... THAT would annoy the heck out of me.

I hope they have like a little skull icon beside the worlds to indicate that it's a full pk world on the 'quick-hop' menu on the client

from what I know of, PK worlds will not appear as a quick pick world, and they are going to be colored differently in the advanced list

I'd rather stick to the skull warning, lots might want to quick jump pk worlds anyways.

Yeah, TheAJ brings up a very good point in my opinion. Some people may want to quick jump to other PK worlds, however, they should be immediately warned by having some type of special indication saying that the world they are about to enter is a PK world.

And to -fedexer-'s statemnt. That would suck major :P But yeah, see what I mean? It's that kind of stuff we want to avoid when they release it. This way, Jagex won't have to deal with so much BS the first week they release it.

Yeah that's a good point mickey, never thought about that... if alot of folk don't use it to begin with, jagex won't need to put up with complaints xD

Another idea i was thinking about would be skill leveling, alot of places would be deserted, you could take the chance of being killed to go and train skills at isolated areas with no-one around, with the off-chance that you will get killed by some ancient nubs or something ^^
