How did you guys learn how to type :O

I tought my self how to type.. How about you people.. I tought my self ever sence 6 though hehee.. thats why i can type over 100 words a minute and 3-6 words per second

how i learned to type:
1. i sat infront of a keyboard
2. i placed my hand over it
completing the first two steps i had mastered how to press the keys on a keyboard

i'm not planing to be a secretary so i dont need to type a million words a minute

i can touch type purly because ive been using a keyboard for over 10 years and it just feels natural. i can type without thinkin about it.. it just comes easy to you after a while

bah, school forced me to type in middle school and freshman year of high school (end of freshman year i was typing at 9 wpm) then in sophmore year i said fuck it that its time to learn how to type and by the end of that year i was bagging out 70+ wpm

i can do like 60 wpm but im having trouble spelling at like 40 wpm

I used to able to type quickly. Then as I went through my school years I found myself actually needing to think before I typed. So, although I can type semi-quick (probly slow compared to you lot), I type as fast as I think (which is slow).

I usually type at 120 wpm

Tought my self - never heard of someone who was teached.
i type pretty fast i guess

you tend to teach yourself most of the time coz as soon as i learn where every key is on the keyboard, u have no real need to look at he keyboard all the time. i taught myself really.

got the internet
went in chat rooms
learnt to type faster as time went on :D
