Yes you can use a static IP and it is actually better to do so. The choice of guides is up to you as all cover largely the same stuff. Darkxl and Mahi's guide are for the normal server files and mine is for my server files (my sql and censtis guides will work for either).
i've tryed and darkxl guide [ cant connect to internet in CentOS] and mahi's too, but for it was problem thet was needed to write 2 different ip's. so ok i will try again darkxl guide. thanks for answer
Ok same problem... I cant connect to the internet :( im doing all like DarkXL showing.. still cant connect and dont know what to do
EDIT: i dont have router. is it bad?
don't double post dude
if you want your centos to have an internet connection
is that very easy, but the real problem to set this server is
your DB that will connect to your Linux machine or let
say Centos or any Linux OS
ok no more double posting :)
um i read it several times, but still can get it. how to...can you explain to me what i should to do ? :)
EDIT: Yes i am using CentOS 4.5 Version. (Like in DarkXL guide)
EDIT: I'm was looking all over enterprice manager still cant find :( or what i need to do?
