first they would probally put this thing that would actually put all your hair down so it wont stick up. Then they have this thing that they put on top of your hair then comes the wig. So when your watching it, It wont look as fake.

Easier to just cut your hair short, and wear a long-hair wig...until that moment when you want the short hair.

Wigs... or cut it. Hair grows back fairly fast for most people (obviously depends, some people don't grow hair back in certain places). And if not, there is always hair extensions if the hair doesn't grow back fast enough.

They are paid millions of dollars to make a movie exactly as the script intends, not so they can keep their cute little curly locks.
Um, I think it's a rubber piece of material that stretches across your scalp, keeping all your hair under it. Then they put a wig on. Either that, or they cut it.
Must cost alot for stuff to be edited, or cut out.
No, it does not take 3 years to make a movie for them to cut out the hair.
Firstly, they can make a movie in 9 months.
If you were a film director, would you a) make them spend 20 minutes to cut their hair to fit the role, or b) spend another $2-3 million over the next 3 years just to have a team crop each frame?
