It's strange that he talks so much about how the monetary system enslaves us, turns us against each other in a fight to get more money, and gives a large spiel / talk about how this system is basically what makes the world the way it is... yet on his website, he's selling drawings, etc etc.. So more my question / concern is how do you get rid of or change a system that your supporting?
Understandable that everyone currently needs to work to live, because of the system in place. But if you where trying to get people rallied together to support and move forward on a new view, then why would you be supporting the current system and have links to selling all kinda of stuff on your website when it's that system your trying to diminish..
Does anyone see the point I'm making here? What he has said in the video and put on his website is contradictory, at one stage he mentions that, without the monetary system, people would find new incentives - if you made a great artwork, you'd enjoy giving it to someone rather then selling it to someone. Yet he is charging $25.00 per drawing of his.. I'm not saying it's unreasonable, I'm not saying that it wouldn't of taken time and therefore has value living by the system we live in, but by selling it he's supporting the same system. As with all trends and changes, someone needs to start it.
Most people have been to high school for example, we all know there where "trends" in high school... these trends where generally associated with making you popular so most people followed them, but what starts a trend? One person, then someone follows, etc etc. But to start it someone has to veer away from the norm and put it in motion, my point is: For a change to occur, someone first needs to start the trend toward change, you would think that after what he has said in his video he would be doing this, but it doesn't look like it...
I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this... don't get me wrong or miss-understand what I'm saying I support the ideology of the video and the problems and issues it presents, just at the same time it seems somewhat like a marketing campaign for his website.... I'm saying all this because the way in which things where presented on his site and the way in which he's selling things very much support the system and it almost seems like .... a dodgey website you'd see on the internet like "Learn PHP in just 1 hour from Dr. Martins Fantastic Guides!"

Universities in Europe is private owned, and study here is done without being affected, corrupted or paid by large companies (else, I wouldn't live in a dormentory!). It also applies to the US, even they got more company-sponsored research project.
If you bothered studying on a high enough level, you would realise this. But seeing you're only 20, you could earliest have started on a proper level of education, hmm.. 2 months ago?

Now if anyone could answer the following: How come our gas prices jumped by 8cents today, despite thef act that exxon for example lost 5.64 points today. Meaning that the oil prices dropped, therefore the cost to produced gas should be decreased and our prices should be decreased also.... but nooooo! it jumped by 8cents.... and the gas companies will never tell thats because of the long weekend here... nop! even if it is true! they will tell you some BS about a prediction they have for next week or wtv, to reason their increase in prices of gas....

Well I've finished the Addendum. And I've also just read the discussion part here.
There's a lot to add on this depending on what point of view you, as a viewer can take.
I've done some limited research about the 1st part, limited because of my age so understanding some parts was too hard, even in the video, and have seen it was the truth. this is why we are in a financial crisis, the one they were briefly talking about in the vid.
But the 1st part is only explanatory, therefore "less interesting" than the rest.
When there's people totally believe this stuff, and on the contrary, others saying this is a simple brainwash, I personally think they might be both right.
This is only one point of view, very broad maybe, but still only one. There might (although I don't really believe it) be other solutions out there yet to be found. On the other hand, saying this is pure brain wash is totally wrong too. Why would they make this vid against a monetary system THAT HAS flaws, as we can see it today. Throughout history we can see that all that is not working is to be replaced. And this vid is telling us our current system stopped functioning, and is offering an alternative.
I did say an alternative, because as it is said in the vid, perfection is unreachable.
My dad came home yesterday, devastated. Why? Our current system's failure. And it is worldwide, not ONE sector isn't touched. Shouldn't something be done here? That's really what this video is all about, I'll say it once more!
But I keep thinking about this now I've seen it: you got this new point of view, this new solution offered to you. Why am I feeling reticent accepting it fully if it is a solution? Again this is something talked about here, how our educational system teaches us to believe in our system, and we ALL know it works. So I've got this instinct (prolly brought because of my education) fighting against what is showed in the vid. So I have an "avis partage" as people would say in french, a... shared opinion if I were to tranlsate this.
As a pro environmental person, I feel this solution could work, and I really love it, as it will be based on renewable energy, a non polluting system. A dream for anyone like me!
BUT could this new ideology be seen as an utopia? We got this project offered to us, and they keep saying it is possible for everyone. But is this serious? I don't think so, because I don't believe in this "fairy tale" system somehow. Many sociologists might agree. Our current behaviors wont accept such radical change. All the things such a greed and corruption are "human nature". But the very positive thing is that behavioral change is possible with a changed society. But in our current state of mind, I still think it will be hard, as we are moslty in a traditional non changing society, as if we were frozen in time. We can see that everywhere, in religion, in many cultures...
Anyways to get back to the point, I really want to see change, as my fear is growing everyday. Some ppl with criticize me for this action, "following blindly" this new ideology as they call it. Action has to be taken soon but (there's always a but in life) no rush, as with many changes, it can go for bad to worse (for those who have read Montaigne or Lafontaine, it is a theme occurring often). Also putting in place a new system is a design so immense many things have to be taken into consideration, because it might very fast fall apart (such as communism for example, where the system got fked up really fast)

Well, I just watched the first 30 minutes of it, and what is statet about the monetary System seems to be true. In fact I've been thinking about some of these thing before i saw this video, but it made things clearer.
Thinking about it using logic (I#m not an expert for monetary Systems, but I know a little bit), I can see now real flaw in the description. Money is created out of nothing, especially at the stock markets. And it's totally true that the Industrial nations kind of buy up the poor states, while leaving them alone with all their problems. I don't know about these so called "hitmen", sounds too much like a conspiracy to me. But the general mechanics are pretty well described.
What I don't like is that the system is displayed as a kind of "world conspiracy". That's just the whole Illuminati crap all over again.
Noone could possibly set up such a system on purpose. It just kind of "evolved". I don't know if I'm gonna watch the rest of this. Seems it drifts more into the conspiracy theories now. Are there more facts about the finance system to come or is the rest of this only theories?

Since old days ppl have been merchants, trading something for something else whether they needed it or not. These people wouldn't always use currency as money or gold, but rather maybe animals, daughters, strong sons, or some other need a person would want. Now, we trade services, products, and maybe people for currency (standardized paper currency or standardized electronic currency). We rarely trade for gold coins in America these days, even though our currency doesn't have a set value, its a current, it needs to keep moving, like the euro to have any value.
Using America as a example I'll show you something about the current system that is set up. Americans generally work and spend, tending to spend more than they earn, and so that leads to debt. Banks or the government hold that persons debt mainly in a virtual environment, a simple network with values on it. What people don't fully understand are banks, and how they work. Banks are allowed to print their own money, free of government regulation. Banks are free to charge fees and hidden fees that are mostly illegal, fees for services like credit cards, mortgages, any little type of transaction. Banks aren't they only ones charging illegal fees, but banks are the only ones who hold our money and charge these illegal fees. When investigated, New York city had 22 major banks close due to illegal transactions they were doing between client and customer.
I'll now point to America's very shaky economy. It's based on education prior to 1974, in which its based on very old gold standard education. We no longer are gold standard, as president Nixon soo kindly took us off because of the lack of money for war times. Being free of gold standard we created the dollar as a currency, being able to be generated without a set value, unlike gold standard which had a set value. Banks print money to cover thier losses, leading into result of a weaker dollar.
Why do we as Americans trust banks with our money? Because in school we are taught to work hard, save, go to specialized school, and then we will be making the money. Well that was the case before 1974 for America, but not now. Major coporations are overseas, 99% of America is controlled by small business, as shown here http://usinfo.state.gov/products/pubs/oecon/chap4.htm . Ok, so if small businesses own American economy, what would happen if they went extinct? The answer is good bye America. Banks don't care about you, they only want you to deposit money, in which the invest as their own money, keeping aside printed "funny money" in your account while using your money to invest in things, mainly stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. We as America are outdated on how to survive in this world.
American education on money is absolutely nothing. Specialized schools dont teach us how to turn 1$ into 4$ without hard work. They cant, because they cant do it themselves, so thats where con artists and genuine come in. con artists tell ppl that business and money are easy, that anyone can do it. Genuine tell people to change their thinking, then study, then hire people smarter than you to help you with earning money without working for another company. 80% of Americas small business are just barely making it already, because 80% of them don't know what it takes to make the big $$$.
This video didnt offer me a logical solution for these times, it only told me to reject the current setup and start a new one. Why reject the current setup, if some people have already made billions from it? Its easier to optimize the wheel than create a new one. Currently rejecting the current setup is laziness, to succeed you simply have to change your thoughts from what your taught. Use other people without violating their rights to get ahead, thats true education, not memorizing dates and codes, not being a engineer or brain surgeon, being able to get what you want, without hurting or violating others is true education.
what does it take to get ahead in America?
ADVERTISING, and the ability to be calm, patient, think clearly, and if need to, the ability to control your situations.
What does this video teach?
Several things, but to try to create something new that has been setup through ages past, built into the very blood of history is idiocy in the making, idiocy being judged by standards that you want to throw away imperfect parts of a trading system just because your too dumb to understand them and make them work for you.
True knowledge can't be taught in a text book, only learned from life itself, but you have to have the capacity, the mind set, the ability to change your thoughts to grasp it.
that's my 2 cents on the subject, prove me wrong about money. Tell me that a man working for a good company would earn more than a man making his own internet business. In America we work for 6 months out of the year just to pay taxes on what we earned yearly, that's outrageous but its true. Its in the form of social security, health care, and other general taxes like federal and state. Its money we should be making but aren't, and then at the end of the year they take more from us.

Wow ....what a waste of 2 hours of my life all boiled down to another radical fascist movement...yet another added to watch list of "homegrown terrorist". My choice is to not follow in the rankings...sure the stock market is dropping but it is normal economics. Instead of following such a radical movement and crash the economy go out an buy silver, gold, and other non monetary items cause in the long run they will still be needed. Plain and simple. Did you even listen to what the video says? It's nothing to do with conspiracy theorys. Whether the US assasinates people for money or whatever isn't the point. The point is, a monetary society isn't the best option for humanity. A resourced based society is.
Think of it for a second:
- Robots making all the healthiest and tastiest food we could ever eat.
- The warmest/coolest and most comfortable houses for everyone on the planet.
- No real work, only creativity.
- Spanking it around the globe quickly, for free on green transport.

Sadly the video has lots of errors in it, mostly regarding on how the economical system works.
Some facts are quite true, but the flaws the movie makers made when explaining the economical system are quite disturbing.

Wow, this was one of the most researched video's I've ever seen.
The start is extremely true, but it's kinda logical, because we used to trade items we found valuable against other items, and now we just give a piece of paper we earn doing work, for others who own the paper, who indirectly work for the government, who makes the paper.
Before, we used to dig gold and be lucky to find a good piece, or grow our own food and trade it for wood, or other stuff.

The movie says some pretty shocking things, aspecially the part of the terrorism, but also alot of things that is true, under which falls the heart attacks, and the suicides of veterans.
I don't think it would be smart to boycot the army, as the 'evil' powers in the world would take over if they found out we have no army, doh.
Also it's way better to first gather half a billion people who support the start of a new Era, because then you'd be able to gather all the needs without the requirement of money, which they want to ban.
It doesn't contradict that he tries to sell drawings or other items on his website, because he just HAS to make a living.
If he has no money, he can't pay for the costs of the websites and the movie, and running the communitie would be hard, because, even if someone started first, it would just result into the person ending up as a hobo.
If you go to change the valuta, or ban money in the total, you should do it with a whole community at the same time, but that would also mean you have to divide the jobs in such a way that you can survive untill the technology is far enough to take over.
If we all stop using money, but not enough of the people are farmers, we'd die of starvation.
If not enough have a mine, we wouldn't have any resources, and we won't be able to get enough resources.
Meaning, that if this plan wants to succeed, you'd either have to have a close to perfect organisation, or the support of every government in the world.
And because of the corruption for the want of money, that won't happen.
Sorry to tell this, but this plan is BOUND TO FAIL.
It might just be me, but im 15 years old, and i completely understand the value of this movie. Im an hour in, and i get it all. Here in America the government IS NOT run buy the corporation. America is built by our founding fathers for the people by the people. Sure politician's are corrupt and have been. Democrat and Republican and other parties as well. The reason why the market is the way it is that when people that have bad or no credit default on a loan that shouldn't have been offered in the first place. Yet the true fault for this is due to the people that take advantage of the system that was in place.
The sheer fact that the videos wants to enlighten is fine...but you all must realize one thing that in life there is ups and downs. The only think the video is "suggesting" to remove everything out of life that a lot of us have come to enjoy. I agree certain corporation are way too big and that like Freddy Mae and Fanny Mac that are still in the market are too large. Sure all of us world wide are felling the pinch that one company has created. But there is a solution to some of the problems. For instance instead of going to the large chain stores for your fruits and vegetables go to a farm stand or your local market or grow it yourself.
As for having money in the "indicated banks" where do you suggest you put it?
Maybe in you mattress but doesn't that mean you still have money?......
Oh yah that right the money that just keeps getting printed.
As for me I have about $35,000.00 invested in my 401K and have not loss a single cent. I have some gold and silver bullion as well. I am no way going to be scared and pull my money out of the stock market. I am only 32 years old and I know that if I pull out my money right now that it would be the worst thing ever. Have faith in it don't get to be bias on one video's half truths. Granted you have the freedom you want to do ...and that is up to each one of you. But have faith in your government (no matter which one it is).
