locator does not open

im on windows vista and locator never opens... at all and eventually the matchserver crashes;

nah prob was that i didn't have the odbc setup properly or have a password to sql, but now it wont let me access server... everything is running.

Make sure your password is correct and stuff, check the configs not trying to make you sound like a noob :P just trying to help :D

nah the passwords are fine because the matchserver and agent and locator all function together but the client isn't letting me access the server

then its in either system.mrs or config.xml of the client folder.
It wouldnt let me access server while I had 0,0,0,0 in config.xml when i put my ip in it I finially got on :P

Ok, I have checked all of these btw im the one hosting, and I didn't have the right ip in for config.xml so I changed that and now it says cannot acces server right away before it like tryed to for like 10 sec. Also I am sure system.mrs is fine, but I will check with raul when he gets on and im guessing port forward? Also error is -1

If so I believe the error means that the DB is missing a table. I have only seen it in the LegacyGamers files though.

there is no error 1.... justin dosn't know how to start it up right or he tampered with the DB, OR, its because i parsed the db insted of executing it.

this is one of those things that go on until I cant figure out whats going on anymore :P

im 10000% sure it's our client... config, and system inside system.mrs are the only things we need to change correct

what do you mean idk what im talking about? we had this error last night also.

config.xml im not sure if you have to edit it but it worked for me.
system.mrs is what you have to, or ZLocator something, I have heard that one too if its in there.
Then do all of the configs for server-side.

Nayr may I ask how you fixed? Im kind of working on a "Official Fix Thread and I need to get atleast 5 maybe 10 fixes in it before I think its good for Gunz sections :P
