AoC, WAR and the "next to never" Darkfall development since there are no more games can hook me up more than month, Mortal online intrigues my interest accidently.

MMOsite: In overview, what kind of MMORPG is Mortal Online? What are the major features that will set Mortal Online apart from other MMORPGs other there?
Henrik Nystrom: Mortal Online is very different from today's mmorpgs. You are free to choose your own play style and what you want to do in the game. There are no levels or linear quests that you have to
follow to continue to advance your character. In Mortal Online it's a combination of the character skills and your own player skills, and training them, that will lead you to success. You are not forced to
grind quests or fight monsters to advance, you can choose to play a blacksmith without entering a single battle. You can focus on economy without fighting, build houses, trade routes and much more. It's
really up to the players to do what they want instead of us focusing on balancing and creating a linear level-based world. Of course with this freedom there is a risk, the game doesn't stop other players to
start rob and murder other players to take their items. But there are some zones with guards that do protect innocent players from getting murdered or plundered.
I would say that this kind of free world will give the players a unique and challenging experience.

MMOsite: There will be no levels and no level restrictions in Mortal Online, which is rare in MMORPGs. Then, what will be the major game play in Mortal Online? What are the goals for monster fighting?
Henrik Nystrom: Mortal Online's primary focus is PvP, which leads to ever new scenarios and experiences, but the PvE part is of course important too. In the world of Mortal Online, most creatures and
monsters serve a purpose, and that purpose is not to give players any virtual XP points. You kill an Algoron to get its fur or teeth, a Tailfish to get its meat, or an Orc because you want his gear - or
because you are attacked and want to protect your own. Is your goal to face a legendary monster? Well, that is usually suicide-if you can find one. But if you or your guild would actually manage to kill one,
it's dead. Gone! Rare monsters and quests do not resurrect or come again, whether it's an ancient beast, a crumbling temple, an island rising out of the sea or a great ritual that fails or succeeds.
You might get away with an item never seen before, or the unique scar that tells about the experience. There are not many of these opportunities but they are usually important enough to affect the whole
world and its history. All you have to do is to be at the right place at the right time.
