Re: [360/PS3/PC]Far Cry 2
Wait, it's 1 big world where you decide what you want to do? So that would have a similar style to Oblivion only then with guns ofcourse, or did i misunderstood what you were saying?
Re: [360/PS3/PC]Far Cry 2
Yeah its kinda like that.
Tons of various missons and side missions you can do.
Personally, I loved the first Far Cry,
and I love this one as well.
And the map editor...
omg.

Re: [360/PS3/PC]Far Cry 2
Seem's like Mercinaries 2 + Timesplitters 2 combined..
If anyone has it; i'd be interested to hear alot about this game as I am intrigued whether to buy it or not.
Re: [360/PS3/PC]Far Cry 2
this game is crap;D i got it for pc im in 16 % of the game and im getting bored ^^ its like GTA LOL you need to pickup the mision from anyone in Pala or gunshops...
Re: [360/PS3/PC]Far Cry 2
Well after completely nerding out the past few days since I got it (Friday)
I just beat the main story yesterday (Sunday)
I love the game, its great fun.
And to all the marksmen out there (Like myself), the AS50 is sexy.
Even more sexier than the now-commonly used Barrett M107.
I love shooting some guy in the leg, then waiting for his buddies to come help him! Muahaha.
Theres quite a few story missions, in the statistic menues it says theres 33, as well as 40 side missions. The weapon missions are good to complete early, even if you cant afford the weapons.
I havnt tried the multiplayer yet (still playing with my beloved map editor)
Re: [360/PS3/PC]Far Cry 2
I'm about 60% done, and I do NOT recommend BUYING it the LEGAL way.
It is not worth 50$.
The scenery is amazing, the graphics beautiful, the story fair...the missions repetitive, and long.
The missions almost always consist of you traveling to a location, to kill everyone and do one simple mindless task.
Along the way, you will probably pass 2-3 security check points, where you have to fight NPC's with terrible AI, and ridiculously amazing eye sight as well as awkward aim (aim at the sky, and shoot you in the head).
If there are no security check points on the path, you are bound to run into randomly spawned trucks with a machine gun attached shooting you down, destroying your engine...and there is also no way to outrun or escape these guys.
This game had a lot more potential but it turned out to be a pretty boring game overall, although I do enjoy the driving and the scenery.
