lol, akram is open to beta users only, so if u download there client (which is released)

Calder and his team have been working on the stuff for Akram for a long time.
I'm kind of glad that you can't rip their stuff easily. It's rather bad form to steal stuff from another pserver anyway.
It isn't quite 7Hearts. Similar, I'll grant you but a lot of new and unique stuff has been developed for this server.Quote:

I haven't actually downloaded their client yet but I have been following the project fairly closely for quite a while now.

Purple Not to disrespect calder at all i like the guy but in my opinion it seems to be 7h nerfed and EVo skills /quest added and that's about the extant of it. Nothing real special i seen inside there client,
Read all the updates and that's about all i see personally. But hey more power to calder and i wish him the best of luck.

as calder has said theres no point in encrypting the vfs files
since there will always be douchebags who would try
and reverse engineer it and release the tool then think they are god.
Calder's going to release his own vfs extractor for the akram files anyways.
i would suggest using it for educational purposes ;]

This is a really easy thing to do though. If anybody has a little bit of skill with photoshop they can change colors of items. Editing the ZSC is also pretty easy so there isn't anything earth shatteringly new there.
Still a lot of work though.
Calder also claims to have customized quests going on but I don't know how much they've been messed with.
I never really played on 7H so i can't really comment on the game content.
Strangely I've been doing almost the same thing myself for KTRose so I was quite surprised when Found that Akram was going in the same direction as me. :laugh:
yea no offense but recolored lvl 10 armor in my opinion is quite well useless. There was aready a blue set for most armors anyways. This was just giving a recolor So now its Rainbow Bright online.
Also i see there skills i personally don't think they are all that great just using in game effects to so skills with a custom name. But then what makes a cool skill the atk? Or the effect? I think the effect then then the atk Yes they wont use it if the Atk sucks but the effects what draws them. And Quest well all i seen was some 7h ones and Some of the newer jrose quest. like i said before not here to dis Akram just can't see the big wow over it. If they get to building it like Aram wowrose online mite be good. But just a wow version of rose.
P.S and Calder if you read this not trying to dis on you guys at all. But to me just seems you guys are taking the game backwards a few notches, Instead of moving forward.
But hey people seem to be drawn to it...
I believe in giving the player new exciting things instead of the same old same. But that's where we differ i guess. They do what they do and we do this......

This is what i think is adding stuff for the players. Wadii did a great job on it.
tbh the mods there arent too appealing for me ;p

tbh armors are a b***** to make due to bones and animation.
but those dont suit rose style, they look like something out of guild wars.
good job on them but wow.
i think things like custom npcs/custom quests and so on make rose servers good, unique spawns and drops it makes it interesting and makes me want to play, what akram is doing is rly interesting, not only the recolored armors, but the skills there doing.
i can understand where ur coming from icon and things like new armors and weapons would really set a server out from others but.. its the little things that count.
