it works 100% in sql 2000 but I am trying to use him in 2005 sql maa'm not getting anyone has a clue of how to make it work in SQL 2005?

:huh:
If you mean 2000 there then there should not be any difference in how it connects. if you have a 64 bit server make sure you use 2005 express advanced services edition as not all drivers work right on the standard edition on a 64 bit os.
