As the title says, which should i buy, 360 or PS3.
My mom is getting me one system for Chrismas and I'm not sure which to get.
My friends give me clashing views so I turn to RaGEZONE for answers.

The 360, the only profit the PS3 has is the Blu-Ray, nothing else.
You gotta think about the games, Gears of War 2; Fable 2 and Call of Duty : World at War are awesome features.. You have XBL games, but you have to pay for Points cards, and online play.. But you also need an HDTV to play a lot of games, like Dead Rising.. Due to "text" problems. If your looking for fun play, but won't make much buddies, i'd try the PS3. It's got LittleBigPlanet, and Fallout 3, and Resistance 2, and such.. But you won't make much buds. If your looking for "Quality" online play, 360 is your buddy, if you want "fun, and enjoyment" i'd try the PS3.
Definetly go for a 360. I own both a PS3 and 360, and I prefer my 360 over my PS3 for the simple reason being I feel like I've had more enjoyment from the games available on the 360 than I have from my games on my PS3. Plus, most of my friends have a 360 and more people worldwide own a 360 than a PS3 and there's fantastic exclusives on the 360, like Gears 2 etc.
Then again, that's my opinion.
I preffer the Ps3 (in my opinion , it have better games)

well the problem on ragezone is theres a lot of 360 fanboys here lol. im no fanboy i say go with a PS3 its a lot more fun then a 360
I'm not a fanboy of any "console" I think they're all great, it's only small disadvantages which puts them below each other "sometimes" but.. PS3 or 360. The PS3 is kind of easy to format it's memory.. I did it like 8 times to my friend, without knowing it.. And the 360 has a chance of getting C-C-C-C-ombo Breaker'd.
I would wait. Sony is coming out with a new PS3 In january. Its going to have a better Proccesor and Shit.
And plus Ps3 is free online.
That's up to you, really. But for me, I prefer the PS3. I love it, it's good and it has alot of memory, depending on which version you buy. Go for the PS3 80 GB - that's recommended if you will play alot of games, especially GTA IV =P. I have never played on a 360 before, and i'm not sure on it. But what I do know is that 360 has gone cheaper in stores. So yeah, go for the PS3!
Get the 360 elite. Comes with 2 games + hd + headset + great controller.
My biggest thing I don't like about the PS3 is that the controller is awful for FPS' but that's just me.
kinda depends which games you like, look at the games which are exclusive to a console...
i have 360 and ps3, atm i like 360 best...mainly because of gow2 and fable2
where as when FF13 comes out ill be on my ps3 again...
Pick the console most of the friends have. If they don't own any or by the rare chance you lack any friends. Take the 360 for the online features. If you don't want to pay for online though, buy the ps3.
Read up that FF 13 will be coming out on the 360 as well, so there goes that idea of PS3 only for it... :PQuote:

Great structure for online gaming, XBL is much easier to use and navigate than the PSN.
If you're worried about the three red lights, Microsoft are now very efficient at sorting this problem.
Exclusive titles like Fable 2, Gears of War franchise, Mass Effect, Halo 3, and Forza if you're into your driving games.
Much cheaper.
Will run majority of multi platform games with a better frame rate than the PS3.
A far larger selection of games at the moment.
PS3;
Better more reliable machine, the technology in it is more powerful than the 360, also it's downfall at the moment because I think companies struggle to code for it.
An amazing media centre, Blu-ray, PlayTV, Home etc.
Exclusive titles like Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, Resistance, Killzone and Gran Turismo 5.
Quieter than the 360!
Personally I would go for the 360, it's the cheaper option (thus possibly get more games with it?) and as a games machine it surpasses the PS3, the online set up is just much better laid out. I'm not saying the PS3 is a bad machine at all, it's just too early on at the moment and I've no idea what Sony are playing at, they have released about 3 different variations of the console in about 3 months or something daft lol.
Mass Effect's on the PC as well, not exclusive then is it? :P
As is gears, and fable 2 will be. This is his choice between a 360 and PS3 though isn't it :P
