Some Help with WotLK

1) If you are a Death knight and you want to get out of the Ebon hold Instance. use your Death-gate spell. you can find it in the unholy spell-tab.
2) If you want to go to northrend: Use the transports. (only if you have added the transports SQL)
3) Most (all) quest in the Death Knight starting area are Bugged. (you cant complete them, missing npc's) If you want a good server. Try to fix this.
4) FDB is a german DB- Dev team. so there is a lot of german content to WotLK.


Please do not complain to much. this is not my work. this is FDB's work.
once NCDB releases i'll convert it to mangos and post it here.

ever since i updated to this one from build 9183 it will not connect to the database it sais access denied, and yes the .conf files are correct, and there is no problem with my MySQL itself

Where can I download the patch from build 9155 to 9183? I've searched everywhere...

I don't get it, i have wow wotlk installed, used the ad.exe that was included in the download but i still get a map error when i try to boot up the mangosd.exe.

My client version is 3.0.3 9183 enGB (so that should be right), the dbc and map files were extracted from this version.

Does anyone know what the **** is going on ?
What version map files should i use ?

I also had issues with the ad.exe included in this release, I believe I used the ad.exe included in an earlier release, and it worked fine.

Sorry I can't be more specific, I go thru several different databases a day and can not be 100% sure which I used, but feel fairly confident it was in deathwow's 3.0.2 repack that I found the ad.exe that worked for me.

Try installing .net Framework 2.0 as well.

You also need to install MySql 5.0 or above before starting realmd , then Mangosd.

If you have multiple WOW installs on your PC
you need to fix the registry before you can run \tools\AD.exe

start, run regedit
goto
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft
make sure the "InstallPath" keys are set to your WOTLK path

You might also have a
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft\2
etc do the same

copy \tools\Ad.exe to your wotlk directory
make a directory called maps
run ad.exe
move the maps & dbc folder to your mangos folder
copy \tools\lock.dbc from wotlk_server.rar into your dbc folder & overwrite the file lock.dbc

When you start WOW.EXE on the opening login screen, the build number is at the bottom left.

This version does not need vmaps, just maps & dbc.

WHY THE BOTTOM 2 Characters are in GRAY and they CANT be CREATED ???

And when i Click CREATE CHARACTER just Brings me Back to Create New Character MENU !!!
