Well i know GMs can add items to a player's event item reward list, but how can the player obtain the item? Is there a NPC somewhere that stores those items for the players or anything?
Because when me or one of my GMs hosts an event, we sure want to give out prizes, but don't want them stuck in the event item reward list forever.
Anyone got more info on this?

i kept asking @ slickone's thread ^^ im actually doing something about it.. @__@ trying to make an event with the files that i have now... >.< give you more info about it as soon as i find anything.....XD

I tried some things with it, although i'm not really experienced in altering server files / database stuff, but learning by experiencing it of course ^^.
Tried things like trying to insert it into a mail to the character by altering an existing email (though maybe its as simple as changin the item ID in the mail) but that sort of failed.
Also tried replacing existing auctions to obtain the item, also failed at doing that...
well 1st off all im using the saga DB and just looking @ tables... started some queries on it... but still no avail... what abt you? what DB did you use?

no i dont.. and there is no item mailer... i still cant get items to be sent to a charcter @____@.
You mean you cant send items to a char through editing DB? Or also fail to send items ingame through mail?Quote:

Mailing items ingame works just fine for me...no problems :o

Go to your mailbox in one of the major towns (Hodemines, Prontera or whatever) and compose a new mail, you can attach an item to that mail to send to the other character.
That's how it works ingame.
If you look at the table list_maildata, its the column "Attachment" that has the data of the item mailed, but i cant seem to edit it somehow...
@___@ what i mean is there is no direct link to a character for item mailing not the actual mail @___@ sorry for the wrong choice of words...
It is possible to create a mail from scrap in the DB...you just can't modify / create an attachment since the field uses a tinyblob value, same goes for inventory / storage data...
