Photo manipulation is the application of image editing techniques to photographs in order to create an illusion or deception (in contrast to mere enhancement or correction), through analog or digital means.
:) its creating a dark illusion.

well i don't know how i'll use c4d renders on that pic @_@.
In design terms that's not really a manip, just some normal editing.
Technical dictionary it would be manipulating, but meh.
