Australia microsoft customer support sucks
I have had an Xbox 360 since launch date and have had no problems I thought i got an xbox with no problems and was happy, but 2 weeks ago my xbox froze, so i though, "ok its just one freeze" then start playing again 5 minutes later froze again, so i changed game, and another 5 minutes freeze i turned it off for the night, turn it back on 3 red rings, I didn't panic, I just instantly called Australian Microsoft customer support to get it fixed. I send it away no troubles comes back within a week, got it back last friday, and Today It starts freezing again, and I get the 3 red rings AGAIN, now they said they fixed it and it was all working but i guess they thought wrong.
Has this happened to anyone else?

What does anything to do with their customer support? Do the people in the call centers fix your xbox themselves? No. They DID fix it, you are causing it to overheat which is making the problem re-surface.

yeah what he said,
you can get like extra fans and shiz for your xbox, so i sagest you get some of them,
and make sure your xbox is somewhere where it wont get to hot quickly

if you open it don't you violate the tos?
Make sure your xbox is WELL ventilated, the POS gets quite hot. When I got it we had some really hot days. Turn it off when it's not in use as well.. I had the exact same problem but since mine is modded (:ott1:), i didn't send back.
I even survived a red ring of death.

nah there outer fans
plug it into the whatever socket it is
i dunno
might be power
cos my friend has one.
but it does the trick.

Ahh ok. I want to pad my xbox 360 and put in new fans as it's quite noisy......... or I can just turn the sound up more. :thumbup:

Our costumer support was nice when we called them to report a red ring of my 360.
They advised me to send it (back) to Microsoft, and I received a new one a week after.
