Help Me Find Out How To Regulate The Blade Length On My DTB Patented Lightsabre!
Instructions :
1) UV Power Supply At The Bottom Of The Base
2) Mirrored Innards To Reflect All Light Continusely
3) Magnifying Lens' Progressing Up The Sabre To Enchance The UV Light
4) Flat Headed Crystal To Magnify The Blade Even More And Then Produce A Distinct Straight Blade
5) Convex Lens For The Extra Power
How Would We Regulate The Blade Length As This Would Carry On For Eternity.
im thinking this could be more of a laser rifle!

Got A Theory In Minimizing The Blade.
The Flat Topped Crystal Has To Go:
1) Use A Crystal That Splits The Beam
2) Use Precise Positioning To Get The Resulting Split Lasers To Intercept Each Other
Ever Used A Prism? What Happens To The Beam Of Light When Passed Thru The Prism?
It Shortens :)
Say If Out Crystal Works Using The Prism Concept Each Split Beam Would "Intercept" Each
Other At A Certain Length. Using The Right Crystal And Enough Light This Would Be Perfectly
Possible. Also Using A Prism We Could Limit The Angle At Which Each Beam Would Split And
Effectively Focus Into One Beam - While In Fact It Would Be Made Up Of Hundreds / Thousand
/ Millions Of Different Beams All Interwining And Intercepting Into What Seems Like One
Beam.

Although this appears a good theory by definition, it is infact flawed. Simple reason being, if the wiz kids/adults/aliens that made the Star Wars films couldn't make a REAL light sabre, then...of course...DB, with should i say 'limited' knowledge of making light sabres, simply isn't going to cut the mustard.
If you make a real working light sabre...i'll eat my hat...LITERALLY.
Well even if they could then they wouldn't, think about it, how hard wouldn't it be to record a fight scene, it would mean they would have to hold the lightsabres in the exact right position all the time, so you need to take a swing and stop exactly at the right point...

Light isnt a highly charged atom. It's a strange thing that can behave as a particle and as a wave. Generally in physics it's spoken of as being carried by photon. Photons AKA tiny massless packets of quanta (AKA energy).Quote:

& What do you mean by a "beam which emitted positive charges"? Beams dont emit charge. They can create charge when they hit the surface of an object / pass through one but they dont emit charges. You can have a beam of moving charges but not a beam that emits charge.

Why electrons? Well because its electrons that the photons of light that interact with that gives the material its appearence. Opaque and coloured stuff do exactly as I typed above. Transparent shit have electron densities is low enough so that photons can pass straight through with minimal interaction.
So you see not quite clear molecules. :eh:
Now back to topic:
But anything that connected the handle to that thing (or pad as you call it) could be easily broken if hit hard enough, snapped or burnt / vaporised by the beam, hence rendering DTB sabre useless.Quote:
