Help Me With This Top Secret Mission
Help Me Find Out How To Regulate The Blade Length On My DTB Patented Lightsabre!
Instructions :
1) UV Power Supply At The Bottom Of The Base
2) Mirrored Innards To Reflect All Light Continusely
3) Magnifying Lens' Progressing Up The Sabre To Enchance The UV Light
4) Flat Headed Crystal To Magnify The Blade Even More And Then Produce A Distinct Straight Blade
5) Convex Lens For The Extra Power
How Would We Regulate The Blade Length As This Would Carry On For Eternity.

But! Having A Beam Which Emitted Positive Charges , And An Emitter Than Produced Negative Charge Would Create A Classic Magnectic Field When Used With A Substance Which Allowed High Atom Charge (AKA Light).
Light isnt a highly charged atom. It's a strange thing that can behave as a particle and as a wave. Generally in physics it's spoken of as being carried by photon. Photons AKA tiny massless packets of quanta (AKA energy).
Photons have NO charge. Not to say that light cant be affected by magnetic field. It can. But ONLY when the light (behaving as a wave) is polarised (the waves of the light are vibrating in one plane only). Magnetic fields rotate the plane of the polarised light slightly. This still doesnt help you.
& What do you mean by a "beam which emitted positive charges"? Beams dont emit charge. They can create charge when they hit the surface of an object / pass through one but they dont emit charges. You can have a beam of moving charges but not a beam that emits charge.

Opposite charges (i.e. Negative and positive or positive and negative) dont repel. Opposite charges attract. Negative and negative charges repel. Positive and positive charges repel.

Gravitational pull on the light? Any gravity produced would be minimal. Light needs a phenomonally large gravitational field to even beand light. How strong a gravitational field? Well it takes a star (something like the mass of the sun) to even see any bending of light rays.
Even if you had this a gravity field this strong on yer light sabre, the person holding it and possiibly everyone around him/her would be attracted to (or in "common ppl" language I guess "sucked" toward will do) to the light sabre.
The only way to stop light / bring it back into the light sabre using gravity only would require an object that had enough gravity to bend the path of light back AKA a black hole. Now I dont really think its safe to handel a black hole in the palm of your hand, really!
I mean if you had a black hole why bother with a light sabre. You could just suck all your enemies up in2 the black hole. Jus as long as you dont stick your hand to close to it.

Molecules of solid objects have less space/Vacum between them, therefore light stops immediately when it hits solid objects.
The plastic that makes up yer drinks bottle etc. and the ice that goes into yer drinks are solid but you can still see thru them! Explain! :eek5:
 thinking tho!
