Habbo going to far?

This is my opinion but, I think Habbo has started to take things too far, especially with the new effects furni' they have brought in, they're taking the attention away from things, that players usually like to do, because someone comes in on like a hoverboard and just fucks things up because everyone starts to use them;

I've heard rumours about Habbo going 3D in 2009, a discussion board, topic has apparently cleared this up:

Total speculation, habbo could afford such a transformation yes, but they wouldn't do it as it is a game which appeals to teenagers and young people. Which means they may not be able to afford a nice comptuer to continue playing therefor loosing out on money.

Habbo is fun and all, but if this is infact true, and they do this, they will without a doubt lose about 70% of their existing players.

Sounds more like a game for old women.

Doesn't seem too bad for a 3D game. Habbo used to be good when V9 was released.

When V24 was released I stopped playing it and left Habbo and the Habbo section on RZ, it sucks now. And now, I'm leaving this thread to stop being attacked by Habbotards.

They're going too far because they're expanding their functionalities plus adding more and more features user-related? Sulake is a company and as a company they need to get money so their company continues to develop and continues to give jobs.
Now this should be in Habbo section. Any post regarding Habbo out of habbo section is a serious crime.

Btw: Stuff about Habbo turning 3D is a LIE. Those are just random pictures in Google that people made. Not sulake. Habbo will continue having their pixelated shit for some more years.

It would deffo look more appealing to new players with the 3D aspect, but again it's like Legend of Mir, new players just can't grasp the concept and apeal of the outdated graphics. I'm sure if they did recreate it in 3D majority of people would, in time, join it. They'd grumble and then accept it :ott1:

This is Gaming Hotspot. If there was a new expansion pack coming out for, say WoW, for example, it would be posted here, not the WoW EMU foum.

As for people's bitching about the gay, shut the hell up. It's a game. Stop band-wagon jumping and jsut deal with the fact; not all games need to be about slaying dragons and raids. Habbo obviously is covering a profitable niche in the gaming market. It's not like cancer, where EVERYBODY hates it, it's a game for God's sake. A very popular, might I add.

I'm pretty sure Habbo has been 3D since Goldfish...only difference I can notice, is that the v9 Habbo is more cartoonish. They are going "too far" in some aspects, such as paying for certain hair colours (the fuck?!), but some things, such as the new effects, the new furniture, are a really good addition. Doesn't want me going back to play it though, even though I made some "friends" who were the best people I met before I can to RZ.
