Modelling a weapon =(

well i followed the steps that 'Styx made and when i test it on my server its shows like light beams when i slash o_O
can anyone help me?

Oh, from experience, thats usually when I've messed up a texture. Did you add a material and such, so it all saved correctly?

i redid my model 3 times and still nothin

its called get a dds and hex the elu WOW?

i looked at other elu's and they all have that grey tiny square
im noob pls help =/

make a sword.
Make a .dds
Make the .dds work on the sword.
Fixed? plox?

no i mean when i oopen my blender and start a new thing there no Grey point, how do i get it?

Everything is grey when you start O_O

File > Load Factory Settings. O_o??
