Check lol your running the realm.exe you dont have to run that, only run logon and world.exe

only change the realm.config

I was having the same problem "using password: no "

I solve this problem puting my password of sql in the confs like realmd.conf , mangos.conf, scriptdev2.conf

Put the password of SQL in the CONFs , maybe this will solve your problem

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;YOURSQLPASSWORD;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;YOURSQLPASSWORD;mangos"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;YOURSQLPASSWORD;characters"

dont' run the realmserver. only run logon and world.

realmserver is only for running multiple realms on multiple computers, i think.
