Cool effect, I would go for more of a flame effect, try to use the liquefy feature to make the effect more fiery. :P
Also, if they are flames, they should be going up, not out.
A bit oversaturated on his shirt but you were just messing around so just keep doing that. :P

I like the flow of the flames as well :D
Lower the saturation a lil bit on the final image and its good to go .. :) it's too bright even for the flames if u ask me .
