[Help] Remote Website: Virtual Srv / Webhosting Services from Godaddy/HostGator
Hello .
I was wondering if i could connect a remote webite to another server by using the services from godaddy/hostgator
First of all can a remote website connect to another computer DB by using a WebHosting Service or do i need vps ?
( i know it works only under windows OS )
Thanks in advance

Yes. It would be possible as long as they have support for ODBC.
Not really. It depends, if you are able to integrate AJAX (Cross domain scripting) then you are able to make a DB backend on your host, and then generate the front end on any server. I'm working on a similar project, however I don't have much time to dedicate to this project. Mutoolz 4 will support this type of feature.

Yes. I'm not sure, haven't used MuWeb for ages. I can't tell, but I guess it should have considering it has alot of other features (that aren't as vital) as this one.
