add /3GB at the end save it and reboot your computer

i have win xp.
maybe it has a other name or something does someone know what???

I run Windows XP Home Edition and couldnt find the Boot ini either. But I found this link and was able to Edit it. Boot ini Edit for Windows XP

boot.ini is right on c:\ . but it is hidden... so in an explorer window goto the tools pulldown.. then folder options.. then the view tab. UNcheck "hide protected operating system files" .. apply/ok .. then check if you see it..
