[InDevelopment] Xlauncher V2

Ok you have seen V1, but V2 is way better.

Features it includes:
* Client and server Application - The client is the Launcher and connects to
the server program to check if there is any updated needed. (WILL BE ABLE TO UPDATE ALL MRS FILES)
* Proper Update - Unlike V1, it will not update all the files, it will only update the files which need to be Updated.
* Encryption - Comes with a mrs Encrpytor (warning, once you encrpyt plz make a backup)
* Editible Splash screen, and interface.
* Loads your website

Features that "MAY" come in the V3 installment
* Antihack - not sure yet
(if you want anything added to XLauncher V3 plz post in this thread)

V2 is about at 20% completion, atm im working on the client and server, and is working perfectly :thumbup:

Why change from C# to delphi? o=

because Delphi is better for gunz.

Because T6 told me Delphi Pwnz, i gotta believe him on that =O, and after using it i can say its 100x better than C#

Since he's developing in delphi 2007 it's vista supported automatically.

Heh, there is only one thing C languages excel at that delphi can't do and that is 16 bit programs. Other than that the only other things is that C has more attention and it's file sizes can be smaller. Other than that, delphi is very easily on par with any C language if not excelling in some areas if you know what you're doing. =)

also to give my opinion on this launcher. Stop now, it's not going to be a succes.
Comes with an .mrs encryptor? There's already enough ways to encrypt them and alot of programs to encrypt them with here on ragezone. It's not easier when you release one. Unless you'll come with an open-source client.
