[Dev]Project Revive

Hello ragezoners,

As many of you know I'm gunnerone. I have worked throughout this section since the early days and helping bring forth fame and its success. I have now strayed from fame to work on my own endeavors to bring some life back into the flyff section. I currently have a small emu I liked from the early days when I first started working with flyff. I am planning on picking it up again. Given my codeing skills are a little sub par seeing the extensive break I took. Its a java based emu I was using to help me learn java. I will most likely end up changing over to c++ by the end of the project. I am planning on making it an open source but you never know. I believe in community advancment and involvement. So I will update this post constantly with new updates and ideas. Thank you <3 gunnerone

CURRENT STATUS :
Login Server 5%
Logins one character at a time into a single player type of server lol :)


Character Server : 6%
Static character and armour and info.


World Server : 3%
can spawn 1 person at a time
walk around and do basic chat
some mobs o0

Sweet i support this :D i'm new here and i know some java,php very lil C++ tho but i hope u get this going 100% as i want to run a server but there is no good server files as i seen so far i have a good Db,web,etc but no server files any way good work so far good job and if you need any help i'm glad to help

Edit: Also i say V12 players would play it more as it has more npc's functions aka funnier things

v6 is the best version in view... it was just that awesome PK system that I loved.

v6 is a definite want due to the old features that in many people's opinions should never have been removed.

v12 is also a want because of the new features, and the fact that there aren't any other private servers out there with the full, working version yet (until Fame updates, anyway).

I'm really torn between the two. If I had to choose one, I guess I'd go for v6.

V6!!! w/ V12 features but still using the v6 pk system and skill system XD bug buffs hahahaha

Agree with x103strike.
Make it v6 but edit .res to add bobo...(chan?) idk, the guy from v11 that allows awaken and such, I know that is possible to add some things withouting editing neuz.exe :P

You DO know that you can implement the old PK system in a version 11/12 server right?

Yeah, but you cant implement the skill up by use and some other things I cant remember now :\

but I like more the skils eh? big crucio reflec XD ,blinkpol and jester skills that working in v6 , loadlight,exp box,pang,kebaras

we could put one thing from beta: buff and heal mobs :P

I think v11 actually. But with some stuffs from v12, like the awake changes, and lord system ^^ (This may sound stupid, but removing the de-lvling would be great, I hated that when v9 came)
Maybe v6 is good, I don't know I started playing flyff at v7 :P

Well being a newer player in the world that is FlyFF....I'd have to say V11 or V12....mostly cause thats all I know....

Now I've heard of older versions...like leveling up your skill and loads of people sitting outside of Flaris botting their skills to lvl them...thats sounds redundant to me.

If you think about it, its not redundant. The rates for like 18~20 was really low, so it was redundant, but from 1~18 it was nice and funny. Not all assists botted their skills(I botted some, had things to do and let some coins do the levels for me xD). Think about it, you plvl a guy, you worked hard for your high leveled skills and he didnt work for them so they are all low. Now, you powerlevel him, he makes nothing and still have the same skill levels as you, its too easy ;P
But what I most liked was the pk system and no d-lvl. When you level up, put some vagrant cloths and go to flaris loadlight to have fun...oh well, good times.

Theres a lot of things that pay off.
You can create your own skill system, you don't have to follow eflyff at all.

EXP boxes can be implemented if I'm not wrong.

Deleveling is serversided and therefore if you get to code your own server, you won't be deleveling if you would make it so.
