im just getting started and im just getting the files i already dw the sv files (170mb) but i couldnt dw hicks stuff... it looks like they were broken when i finsih the download... :(
im getting a little nervous :chair:
btw if any1 can tell me where to dw SQL please ill be glad :wub2:

Third, It's called MS SQL.. MS = Microsoft, and that makes it www.microsoft.com :)

There are many copies of the server floating about, I had the same problem with hick's download, but can you blame him? I mean, at least it goes, even if it's at 3k or less. Think how many people are hammering his site to get it, you know? But yea, do a search, I got mine off someone else's webpage I found here since hicks was moving a lil slow for my taste at the time. Still, I give the guy props for hosting such a large file(s).
As for ms sql server, you can grab the trial edition of microsoft's page (which is what many did it seems), just make sure your OS is on the list of compatibility. I had to install win2k3 datacenter to work with my ms sql 2000 enterprise (works like a charm, no problems). And while you're at it, grab any service packs you may need for the sql server, like sp3.
