Wow..

Well i just got half life 2, after the long wait lol, and i dont know what you were all complaining about witht he varification only took me 2 mins. but.. the game itself, is so great.. i donno if im the only one but half life 2 is the 1st single player game since the 1st legend of zelda for n64, that me think my way threw problems. im not to far into it, im at ravenholme, but one part that sticks in my mind.. is when u get the air boat .. and you have to get out, knock the air filled barrols in the water then drag them under neith the basket to lift it up. tis; a work of art lol

umm.... on the first day i had to w8 7 hrs to verify my copy due to steam being flooded >.<

I know what you mean by a work of art :D tis really stunning from start to finish. So hope they hurry up and bring some addons like opposing force n stuff again coz i want MORE!

One thing i didnt like is that the puzzels sorta disapear towards the end... You still have to think but its nothing very hard. Things like putting batterys in the right places or pulling plugs out with the grav gun. The bit with the barrels is by far the most amazing display of physics i think. When i was sitting there thinking 'how do i do this one then' as soon as i came up with the barrel idea i thought 'nahhhh that cant be it.... it cant be that advanced surely' was i shocked :good:

Also the way the characters are built up is amazing 2. Like when your playing ball with dog. Really shows how much detail went into this game :)

I still love doom3 tho :) just not to the same degree as halflife2.... Might buy halflife source as well :D

I just got to the prison part and im stuck.. after you rescuded the girls dad... she sends you off alone.. then she says "oh no look at the camras" , kill the guys and you soon come to a energy door, cant grab the plug with grav gun, and theres no off switch, and she doesnt turn it off for you :S any one know how to get past this?
