I'm curious i have it, but experiancing horrible frame rate and sounds looping
I've done the "GOOGLE IT" option to find out the problem. But now i've come down to some on my last few options.
I ask now does anyone have the game and has had similar problems that were fixed?:$::$::$::huh::$:
Maybe lower the resolution so it'll run smoother? Ask Dandune or ElMarshal. I think Dandune has it and I'm sure ElMarshal does.
I've never experienced that problem. Post your specs.
Now what are your system specs? CPU? RAM? GFX?
Also... i updated my GFX drivers to the latest ones recently and experienced HORRIBLE lag while playing L4D (using an 8800GT so there should be no problems at all). I reverted back to the previous drivers and all worked fine and having no problems since then.
I have tried playing L4D with an ATI 1650XT PRO on my GF's PC but experienced bad frame rates and lags even on the lowest settings at 800x600. So i think anything around the range of an 8600GT (tested it with an 8600GT on my brothers comp and has no problems) should play it quite well considering it is only marginally better than the x1650XT.
ive never had problems with it and i play on a laptop, 9700GT Mobile, i mean it might push it a little when i have crowed of zombies around but thats about it, just turn down the settings and you would prob be fine

Friend gave it to me, cause he was never able to fix it on his laptop
turn down resolution. turn off anti aliasing and turn shaders to low. that should make it better
he's done that all, and there is still constant lag, and sounds loops.
prob just not good enuff graphics card
if he has a ATI Radeon then it should run if anything it could be your Ram cuz it runs on my comp and mines only has 1 gb ram
his graphics card is definitely up to par to play the game

What? That is complete BS. Just cos the card is an ATI it will meet any requirements? You're just lucky you didn't post that in the hardware section.Quote:

Stop being a cheap skate and buy the damn game. I just picked up a 2nd copy of the game for my GF yesterday and it cost me $40 AUD (that's about $25 usd). It is a brilliant game and deserves to be paid for.Quote:
