o.0 you can run a server without your computer being on 24/7....but I doubt many people would play in a server that isn't always on.
Logic can answer this question.. when in doubt always turn to logic.
You can run a server that isn't online 24/7. This will not affect its stability in any way. However, remember that people live in different time zones and may not like the hourly schedule of the server.
