FULL CLIENT INSTALL GUIDE. (step by step)

I want to start off by saying that this guide should work, considering you follow each step carefully, because this is what I did and my RO runs fine. Also, this is my server's installation guide so if you want to play on a different server change the sclientinfo.xml in the data folder using notepad or just overwright it with the server's sclientinfo.xml (the server you want to join will probably have it for download).
I use the 1117 clients in this guide, which is more up to date then the other guide. Also, this guide includes all sprites for advanced classes and skills. I have lots of custom sprites in here too so you don't need to go downloading a million things and get confused, seeing how this is a step by step guide.

How to get Ragnarok Online by Flam

1. Download Bittorent: ABC Bittorent
2. Install Bittorent.
3. Download these: RAG_SETUP1117.exe.torrent and SAK_SETUP1117.exe.torrent
4. Double click on both these bittorent files and now they will be downloading in your newly aquired program, bittorent.
(Bittorent is a very small program. If it runs slow you can still use your computer, because it only takes like 1% of your cpu usage. Im gonna try to keep on reseeding the files myself to make downloading go faster.)


After downloading these 2 files (it will most likely take awhile), run the kRO installer then the Sakray installer. Open the kRO game, let it update and click exit. Open the Sakray, let it update and click exit.

Now you have RO

if you make your own server and want to connect to it put your ip and port in the sclientinfo.xml.

but can you explain what the proxy section is for and how it works? do i use it for all my downloads or just this one. and it doesnt seem to work when i use them i get an instant cancel without retry when i try to use those settings. and when i go back to direct it still doesnt work. (might be a broken link)

You seem to be right.
I'm gonna try with another proxy...
Also, in the meanwhile, I'm uploading the clients to my ftp. When its done I'll post a link.

The proxy section WAS for getting past the "only korenas can download kRO and Sakray" because, what it does is make your IP look like a korean one.
The proxy guide, which I took down for now, wasn't working because I think they're renovating their site... (I don't know what this means: http://www.ragnarok.co.kr/ ) but the english part read (2004/12/28) so it should be up by then. :D

I took the proxy guide down, it dos't work anymore.
I made a bittorent guide instead, its faster and easier.

5/5/5 means 5 "five times" vs normal server, the job level / base level / drops
