yeh its been in development for a while but blizzard likes to make sure there games are done properly and dont like ro rush, it used to say on play.com there was a march release date but thats been taken down XD
it should be this year but im hoping it will be sooner rather than later, but then again i dont want any bugs or glitches in it, in that case id rather it later than sooner :P

I will definitiley get it, i've played D2 for years and always loved it. I will have this game on day 1.
o yea, i think it will be the shit, as long as the main gameplay isnt changed that much, i thought D2 was fun the way it was

its a single player offline game, or you can go online and play with friends to complete quests on harder modes, or just go onto servers and PvP your brains out
Worth noting is that games have only 8 players max in it in D2, perhaps they will change that a little in D3, but i truely doubt it will be more then 16.
Oh and the online, in D2 atleast, is free.

Diablo 2 was immensely popular, so no doubt hell of a lot of people will get it ;)
Pity they won't be having anymore classes returning, besides the Barb - I loved the Nero... had a bone necro appropriately named "IgotaBoner" (I got a boner) XD

Nothing new, Blizz have a notorious reputation of relaying release dates.
But regardless, I'd rather play a very polished game over a buggy release - EVEN if they BLIZZARD.
Good example, Hellgate London:
Numerous Ex-Blizz developers on it. What happened? Over hype on it... come release due to deadlines...? A severely bug riddled game that crippled Flagship Studios and very bad reputation for that, eventually leading to the company's closure.
No gaming company want to suffer that.
This game will live up to expectations, i'm getting bored of WoW at the moment. I wanna play games like MiR but on a 1920x1200 monitor it really seems like a waste, bad textures and pixelated screen arnt my faviorate things in the world :sleep:

there should be more news on diablo when blizzcon happens i dunno when that is but hopefully they will show off a new class then and maybe even a release date if we are lucky :D
They're keeping it to 8-10 players max per game....
And this isn't going to come out soon, that's ballocks.
First they need to milk out starcraft 2 before releasing this.
Also they haven't been updating the website with any new content since nov/december of 2008.
