I don't think so. Someone correct me if im wrong.
no but I know if you use GCC compiler you shoudl be able to get the c++ to compile in linux. I don't know for sure as I don't have linux but I remember this in a c++ class a long time ago.
someone research this and post an answer if you would be so kind.
thank you LORD for sir glaphan.. yup, sir glaphan is right coz my friend from Germany is using Linux compatible files.. ask him if he will share it you.. pm me for his contact details.^.^
A C++ program if wrote using standart functions are compilable for linux, but like dFlyFF, most like wont compile because VC++ uses microsoft's almost never standart function(Internet Explorer is another example).
I was going to make a java server with a friend, it would run on linux, but he got busy :S
I was asking becuase linux is cheaper hosting then windows lol guess that fails hard, blah :| thanks though for your help, greatly appreciated :p
DragonFlyff uses Winsocks, if I'm not mistaken. You would have to port the code over to use Sockets.h (the Linux/MacOSX equivalent.) Shouldn't be too hard. I did this with osRose (the ROSE emulator) and got it running on Mac OS X.
