UNZIP problem

Hey i am wondering if there is anything wrong with your guys's download as when i go to unzip the l2server part of the zip on numerous files it freezes up the comp for ever and it doesnt resume at all. any explanation what this might be. im running windows xp pro and have never had this problem before.

thats what i was using. oh well i got it to work. now im stuck on part two of the instructions on how to set it up cuz i dont have ms-sql ini or anything like that and dont know what to do from this point forward.

mssql mean the actual software itself and ini are those l2server.ini file etc.

where to get ms-sql tho. also ive had a problem with this server files that u download from the guides and all you have to do is set it up. it freezes my comp sometimes when trying to un zip it. any clues why this happens.

download MS SQL 2000 Evaluation free, or find a pirated version somewhere :D

And its better to not ask questions, when set server up your first time, If you just read and read some more, eventually you will begin to understand, and then if you have question, it will probably make more sense and actually benefit the community :)

Virus protection?

thanks bot god for telling me where to get the mssql at. and i know to read first and read some more. i set up mysql servers correctly alot with l2j however. now that you guys have this here as a complete C1 with skills quest and ect ect theres no reason to even go back to l2j when i can have it all instead of parts. right. also. yeah i have a lukefirewalker virus protection but why would that matter? i mean. these files dont have any virus's do they.

MS SQL Evaluation stops running after 120 days???????? and it cost a whole lot??? wtf

download the MSDN which is free and then use the database tools (dont install server) from the eval version to administrate your database (the tools never expire) *sigh*

so get the sql server 2005 for free and use the eval tools?
