I dunno man, honestly from what everyones been telling me, is to get the hell away from windows 2k3, I dont know what it is but, NOTHING seems to want to work on win2k3, L2admin = pain in the ass to get to work on win2k3, L2server = crashing left and right on win2k3 when it used to be up for hour's at a time, No matter what I seem to do, win2k3 ends up crashing, its very random, can be 5 minutes, can be 2 hours, can be 10 hours, it just crashes ALL THE TIME, and I swear yesterday i wanted to die it so fuckin annoying. I downloaded Windows 2000 Server standard last night and im gonna install it and see how it goes, I'll let you know..
Funny thing is, I had this exact setup on windows XP and the PC's Never had any problems... stupid win2k3 -,-
servers been up again for 5 hours and its at 17000ish pending write
Ill wait to see see how your windows 2000 install goes.
have everything working for two weeks on w2k3 server
BoTGoD you are right it sucks with L2Admin but i've handled to make it work
just permissions troubles of default settings in IIS and default settings in roles of COM+ App L2Atl
had to cancel some restrictions - now afraid about security.
about L2Server crashing - dunno why - have a single Xeon 2,8 + 4GB ECC DDR + ASUS PC-DC + WD RAptor 10000rpm 80Gb SATA
works middle fine but SQL behavior is strange - sometimes give me SQL lags
should work properly, my server been up for a long time but installing L2admin is a pain :PQuote:

I just dont understand why it crash's on windows 2003 server, because it loads up SO FAST, like 5-7min total loading time including npc's.
My Server Spec's.

2GB DDR400 ECC Ram
36GB 15,000RPM HDD's

PC2)
Dual AMD Opteron 850 2.4GHz
2GB DDR400 ECC Ram
36GB 15,000RPM HDD

PC3)
Dual AMD Opteron 850 2.4GHz
2GB DDR400 ECC Ram
36GB 15,000RPM HDD

/3GB is enabled, I have a 16GB Swap file running as well.
This is the same exact setup I had on Windows XP and everything worked fine, I got L2Admin working on Windows 2003, but its a pain in the ass. Windows 2k3 = teh suck.
Do you have pending write problem though?
I get lag spikes :(
You think I should get 2GB RAM?
