Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
1.Does We Need Web Hosting For Starting It
No but you need a web host or a webserver for a cash shop/reg page etc.
2.Anyone can point Good Launcher
There are a few in the release section.
3.Gp client is it OGplanet Client?
GP (gamespirate) is a US client yes, use the OGPlanet client.
4.How To Open Chumpy Gm Tools v6.10
Double-click, enter the mssql connection details and they should load.
5.what the hell i need to do with Winscp..
Coy files between windows and centos, it's just like an FTP program.
6.Does I need to off Firewall??if need..can u prefer how to make my computer and internet un treated to Any Virus
Firewall shoudl be off or have exceptions to allow the connections.. Antivirus should not affect Cabal.
i know a bit about linux commands...one more..after the 5 on guide...i try open..nothing happens..only come out C:/ProgramFiles/Ogplanet/Cabal Online/Cabalmain.exe breaklee then he off..nothings..
Have you created the batch file to launch with? Look in my sig for the "how to start a client" topic.
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
yeah..i have create batch file..also nothing happens..
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
Ok, try movinf internal.txt out of the data folder and see if it loads. A corrupt internal.txt can sometimes cause this.
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
one more chumpy..Winscp acess denied..it wan MSsQl ip or Centos Ip?? will be contact soon ;)
EDIT AFTER CHUMPYWUMPY REPLY:-
It also can't....i now can register but all have set up..only left to work the client only...T.T

EDIT..AGAIN AND AGAIN:-
after i patch it with RZ launcher..even crystal report won't open :(
One more..does i need to update the real cabal.coz if i update it to real cabal..it will go to season 2..it is right??
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
You are going to need saur0n's patch yes.
The brest client to use is a clean non-updated ogplanet client.
Seeing access denied in winscp means you are using the wrong user/pass. Use your root user.
I think you need to reinstall the og client as it sounds broken.
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
okay..first...My WInscp can't connect..put centos login and pass also not working...
second,i patched it with RZ patch and put internal.txt but nothing happens..
P/S:-i already reinstalled the OGPlanet Client 5 times..help me..:*:
Edit:-Yea..i also try use Patch_login from Darkxl..nothing happens..i suggest u give me any tutorial using pics or video..please..i need something good..where i can see where is my wrongs...:*::*::*::*:
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
Ok, ignore the client for now as if winscp can't connect the client won't be able to either so that is the first things to fix. Extra guides are not oing to help here at the network configuration is the one thing that can't be put in a guide as every network is unique. I could show you my entire config and it wouldn't help you one bit as your will be different.
Darkxl's login patch is an older one and my server files are designed for saur0n's patch not darkxl's as fixing d/c problems is easier with saur0n's.
Can you ping centos from windows and windows from centos (i bet not)?
Do you have a router?
What is your vmware networking set to, bridged or NAT?
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
ok..i use Sauron's patch..what do u meant by ping window by centos or centos by window.. coz my centos ip and window ip is same ip..and one more..my ip adress regularly changed like after 4 day..it's change...how too keep it aa
one more..i thinking of using MSSQL 2000 as it seem like easier..coz MSSQL2005 cannot use the Gm tools u released chumpy
Edit:my vmware internet connection is Bridged and i have disable VMnet1 and Vmnet 8
VMware Network Adapter Vmnet8 Disabled
VMware Network Adapter Vmnet1 Disabled
One more it say this when i connect to Centos using WInscp..
Network Error:Connection Timed Out..
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
If you ip address is changing then you have a dynamic ip. To get a static one you need to speak to your ISP and ask for one. Sometimes they charge for this but not all ISPs do.
If using bridged then both ip addresses should not be the same as that isn't how bridged networking works. That should only be possible for NAT networking.
Both vmware adaptors should not be disabled either, how is centos supposed to communicate if both are disabled? i think you need to revisit my vmware guide as i did not mention disabling anything in vmware, none of the settings needs changing other than selecting nat or bridged.
My gm tools can work with 2005 as that is what i used for all of my early testing. I do know there are some problems connecting to some databases i never got to the bottom of though. The errors sql returns in these cases just aren't useful at all and the only way i would ever figure it out would be to spend some time on an affedted db.
Can you post you "ipconfig /all" from windows?

EDIT:dude...can u help me with any Online help..easy for me..i hav add u in Hotmail i think
Hafiz_Emoangel@HOtmail.com is my email..we can set up date to do..really need help A.S.A.P
P/S:from Malaysia..so our time is different..u could post ur time and convert ur time to GMT+8..thx
Re: The Final..Hope ChumpyWumpy
That explains it. You have a LAN and therefore a router so NAT is the wong setting for VMWare, set it to Bridged.
Specify the Centos IP address manually as well. Give it an IP of 192.168.1.20, netmask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1 and DNS 192.168.1.1.
When testing set up cabal with the centos lan ip (the 192.x one) to start with and the same in internal.txt as that should work even if ports are not forwarded.
I am on GMT so GMT+8 is a bit late for me :/
