Armor Retexture

i have a mage and i want the g42 armor to look like g60 darkness armor, i changed the textures and that works fine as it shows up the darkness set but on g42^^, but as soon as i change the files for the models of it, it turns off all armor and makes it look like i'm wearing nothing while its still on, any idea? thanks, i tried a search and i got results which didn't really help xD

just change the action of the armor in inititem.txt
